Stone Sour are streaming their new covers EP, Straight Outta Burbank, in its entirety. The effort was released on vinyl during Record Store Day’s Black Friday (November 27), and is now available in digital outlets as well.
Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour) joined Dave Navarro‘s jam band, Royal Machines, onstage during their December 7 show in West Hollywood, CA to perform some covers. Among those, was a cover of Stone Temple Pilot’s “Sex Type Thing,” which he played as a tribute to Scott Weiland, who passed away on December 3.

Stone Sour are expected to release their second of three covers EPs, Straight Outta Burbank, later this year. It has now been revealed that one of the covers on the effort will be The Rolling Stones’ “Gimme Shelter,” which will feature guest vocals from Lzzy Hale (Halestorm).
