Pearl Jam Joined Onstage By Soundgarden & Mudhoney Members At Seattle Show

During Pearl Jam’s August 10 show at Seattle’s Safeco Field the group were joined onstage by some special guests including Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil and Mudhoney’s Mark Arm and Steve Turner. Thayil performed MC5’s “Kick Out The Jams” with the band during the first encore and returned to the stage to play Iggy and the Stooges’ “Search and Destroy” and The Dead Boys’ “Sonic Reducer” with Arm and Turner during the second encore. You can see footage of all that below. If that’s not enough, you can also see footage of Pearl Jam paying tribute to the late Chris Cornell with a cover of “Missing” and footage of them paying tribute to the late Tom Petty with a cover of ” I Won’t Back Down” as well.
