Job For A Cowboy Confirm Drummer For New Album

Job For A Cowboy have recruited Navene Koperweis (Entheos, ex-Animals As Leaders) to play drums on their new album. His parts were tracked back in August. The band are planning to return to the studio in October/November to continue recording the effort with producer Jason Suecof. Frontman Jonny Davy told MetalSucks the following about the record:

“We’re kind of looking at this as a sequel to ‘Sun Eater‘. The lyrical themes tie into the last record. I would say this record is very similar to ‘Sun Eater‘ but we’re still trying to move the needle a bit, trying new things, kind of like we always have. I think that’s always been our motto, not to be stagnant and to just have fun with it, to try new things. I think everyone’s musical tastes changed a little bit over the years and our music kind of changes with it.”

Job For A Cowboy Seemingly Teasing Their Return

Last year, there were rumors circulating that seemed to suggest that Job For A Cowboy were planning to reunite. Now, the band have added fuel to the fire themselves by sharing a clip from the 1995 “Mortal Kombat” film in which Shang Tsung says “It has begun.” Stay tuned for more info as it becomes available.

Are Job For A Cowboy Planning Their Return?

Rumors of a Job For A Cowboy reunion have been circulating lately and the band seem to have added more fuel to the fire. The group recently took to social media to post an article that Ghost Cult wrote about their potential comeback and they even described it as “interesting.” At this point, we will just have to wait and see what happens.

Job For A Cowboy Post Pictures Of Their Torched Van

Job For A Cowboy have posted some photos of their tour van up in flames. Some have speculated that these photos may be the band’s way of saying that they are disbanding or at least taking a break. This is not confirmed, but it would makes sense, especially since they never even toured in support of their latest album, Sun Eater. On top of that, Nick Schendzielos recently announce that he has joined Havok, and Metal Sucks have also got a comment from a Metal Blade representative who said the members are “deep in day job land,” and are not expected to make any announcements anytime soon. Stay tuned for more information.
