Terrorizer Sign With Earache Records

Terrorizer have signed a new worldwide deal with Earache Records. With this news, it has also been confirmed that the band are currently working on a new album.

Earache founder and managing director Digby Pearson said the following:

“Terrorizer was one of the first wave of bands I worked with and were true pioneers of grind, back when only a handful of musicians even played extreme metal. The band lasted for too short a time because two members quickly joined other bands (Napalm Death and Morbid Angel) who both began to tour the world and never looked back. Working with Terrorizer once again, in 2021… Finally… It’s their time to take center stage on the grindcore world they helped create.”

The band also commented:

Pete Sandoval:

“For me, this isn’t just an exciting and enthusiastic moment in my life to once again work with Dig Pearson, Al and the rest of the Earache staff, but it somehow also brings back strong and unforgettable memories from the early ’90s and so on. We can never forget classic albums like Terrorizer’s ‘World Downfall’ and Morbid Angel’s ‘Altars Of Madness’ and ‘Blessed Are The Sick’, which helped us grow musically and mentally, and helped shape and prepare the road for tons of other new young bands to follow and succeed. We did it together with Earache! So I’m looking forward to a new powerful and majestic Terrorizer release and for a positive, great and successful relationship with Earache. Thank you guys!”

Sam Molina:

“We are very appreciative for the opportunity to sign with Earache Records and eagerly look forward to a successful working relationship with a label holding the outstanding history that Earache has in the music industry.”

Lee Harrison:

“Lots of stuff going on with the Terrorizer camp and we are happy to report the new signing with Earache Records. We know Digby and Al are very supportive of what we’re doing and are looking forward to big things coming in the future. It’s great to have a powerful team behind us for this next record. Look forward to seeing all the fans on the road when we get out and support the release.”

Brian Johnson Reportedly Told Terrorizer That The Rumors Of A New AC/DC Album Are True

Rumors of a new AC/DC album have been heating up ever since photos leaked of various members of the group at Vancouver’s Warehouse Studio. Some reports have even said the effort will feature the late Malcolm Young on every song. Now, Terrorizer are claiming that Brian Johnson has told them that a new album is coming and that he “sick of denying it.”

Terrorizer said the following:

“Last night we played the final show of the TERRORIZER – “Caustic Attack Over Europe” Tour 2019. The last week we have had some great shows. Leiden (NL) was a killer sold out show and Saturday night was a cool fest in Drachten (NL) with our buds in Memorium from the UK. Want to say thanks to the bands Skeletal Remains and De Profundis. All great guys… Can’t say enough good things about both bands!!!

Of course thanks to the crew Darek, Kuba, Max, Jacek and of course the sound man Oscar!!!! Many thanks to Massive Music for another great tour!! Thanks to our management Gunter Ford and Alex Ford at World Entertainment for all their efforts!!

We ran into Brian Johnson from ACDC at the airport today after the flight home and we asked him about the rumors of him being on the new ACDC album and he said “Yes” and that he is ” Sick of denying it”. So that was a cool surprise ending to the tour.

South America is next!!!”

Terrorizer Premiere New Song “Invasion”

Terrorizer have premiered a new song titled “Invasion.“ This track is from the band’s new “Caustic Attack,“ which will be released on October 12. Guitarist Lee Harrison commented:

“We are proud to finally unveil the new track from ‘Caustic Attack‘. We made sure this album is unrelenting and ‘Invasion’ is a good start on the journey. This album is a punisher so be warned. A short and fast blasting dose of Pete Sandoval in his element. We look forward to playing this one live.”

Terrorizer To Release New Album “Caustic Attack” In The Fall

Terrorizer have signed a new deal with The End Records and are planning to release their new album “Caustic Attack“ through the label in the fall. That effort was recorded with producer Jason Suecof.

Drummer Pete Sandoval (ex-Morbid Angel, etc.) said the folllowing:

“It feels so great to be back playing every day. I worked really hard on my recovery and all that work is really paying off now because when I play these songs I feel the same way I did in 1990 or 2000. I feel young again and I can play with no problem. And that’s hard to do because this new album has a lot of changes, double-bass, fast blast beats. You name it.”

Guitarist Lee Harrison also commented:

“The original Terrorizer didn’t have solos, so we took the same approach. It was just riff after killer riff. That was an interesting challenge for me — to keep the music fresh without relying on solos. But the great thing about not having solos is it allows us to keep a dense sound as a three-piece. When you put leads in there, you need a second guitar or else the bottom falls out. Staying a three-piece makes it easier to travel and tour, and we didn’t want to mess with that formula.”
