Skeletal Remains Premiere “Dissectasy” Video

Skeletal Remains have premiered a new video for their new song “Dissectasy.” This track is from the band’s new album “The Entombment Of Chaos,“ which will be released on September 11. The group commented:

“‘Dissectasy‘ is the gruesome tale of a crazed man, driven by his morbid desires to the point of self-dissection.”

Skeletal Remains Premiere “Congregation Of Flesh” Music Video

Skeletal Remains have premiered a new video for their new song “Congregation Of Flesh.” This track is from the band’s new album “The Entombment Of Chaos,“ which will be released on September 11. Chris Monroy commented:

“We gave this song to our director, Dillon Vaughn, and let him have a little fun with the narrative of the video, putting his own twist on the lyrical theme. It depicts a small cult giving a sacrificial offering to their verminous god in hopes of bringing forth the physical form of whom they praise. Big thanks to Anthony Vasquez, Max Ouweelen, and Harley Barden, who offered their time to help out and a special thanks to the legend Dylan Carlson of Earth for lending his hand to play our Cultist Leader.”

Skeletal Remains Premiere New Song “Illusive Divinity”

“We are very excited to share with you the first single and opening track off of our new album ‘The Entombment Of Chaos‘. We feel this is a good introduction to the album that gives you the vibe for what the rest of the record has to offer. ‘Illusive Divinity‘ tells a story about the arrival of higher beings with hidden intentions fooling all into believing they are divine entities here to bring salvation to humanity. Hope you all enjoy!”

Skeletal Remains To Release New Album “The Entombment Of Chaos” In September

“The Entombment Of Chaos” Track Listing:

04. “Synthetic Impulse”
05. “Tombs Of Chaos”

11. “Stench Of Paradise Burning” (Disincarnate cover) (bonus track)

The band commented:

“We chose to work with Dan Seagrave along with Dan Swanö once again for the artwork and mixing/mastering of the album as we were very satisfied with the work they both did on our last record. This time around there are a few more songs on seven-string guitar than the last album, making it an overall heavier sounding record.

We also wanted to incorporate more aggression and brutality this time around to give the album that extreme edge it needed to top our last three releases. In addition to that, we brought in our good friend Charlie Koryn (Funebrarum, Ascended Dead) on drums to add his own pummeling sound into the mix giving us an end result we’re all extremely proud of. We cannot wait to share it with all fans of Death Metal!”

Maryland Deathfest Postponed To 2021

The 2020 Maryland Deathfest has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The event will now take place on May 27-30, 2021 in Baltimore, MD.

Organizers issued the following statement:

“Maryland Deathfest XVIII has been rescheduled!

The new dates for MDF XVIII are May 27-30, 2021.

As mentioned in previous posts, the goal was to retain at least 90% of the line-up, so we’re happy to say that this has been accomplished despite the incredibly short notice. As with every edition of MDF, we were really looking forward to this line-up and put a lot of time, energy and money into it, so we couldn’t fathom watching it all fall apart. By rescheduling to the same weekend next year, we were able to keep it all from falling apart.

Rescheduling the event to any other weekend in the year would have been much more challenging for us to overcome financially, and the line-up wouldn’t have looked anything like it does now. We needed more breathing space to overcome all of this, so rescheduling to next May was the only solution to give the festival a legitimate chance to stay alive.

As of now, there are only 2 bands, Cadaver and Necrophobic, that still need to give us a final answer about their availability to play on the new dates. We will save a space for both bands until we receive confirmation that they can play or not. If any of them can’t play, they will replaced. We’ll keep you updated on this in the coming weeks.

Death Strike and Prostitute Disfigurement are the only 2 bands that definitely can’t commit to the new dates, so replacements for them will be announced soon.

The rest of the line-up remains exactly the same, including day of show for all bands.

The pre-fest party on Wednesday at the Ottobar has also been rescheduled with the exact same line-up. The new date for the pre-fest is Wednesday, May 26th 2021.

All tickets remain valid for the new dates!

If you can hold on to your ticket for 2021, there is no better way to help us through this situation!

It is somewhat of a disaster for us to process refunds right now, keep the line-up pretty much identical, and have very few funds coming in for months to come. We aren’t making this situation all about our own challenges and understand that this pandemic is making it tough for many of you, but we do need to find a proper balance to handle immediate refund requests and not end up bankrupt at the same time. We will be able to process a fair amount of refunds now, but if the requests are excessive, we will need a bit more time to catch up and offset our losses before everyone can be made whole. We will work with everyone who writes, but there’s only so much we can handle in the immediate future.

If you absolutely cannot attend the new dates, you can request a refund by sending a message to our Facebook page or by e-mailing

For those that were planning on getting tickets but didn’t because of the uncertainty over the last month, we will make tickets for MDF XVIII available again in 1-2 weeks. These sales will surely help us through this difficult time.

It feels pretty surreal that we just had to post this news. Of course it’s unfortunate that we all have to wait a year for this to finally transpire, but this decision will give MDF a much better chance to survive for years to come.

We hope to see you at MDF XVIII on the new dates!
In the meantime, stay safe and healthy!

Skeletal Remains Part Ways With Three Members

Skeletal Remains have parted ways with guitarist Adrian Obregon, bassist Adrian Marquez, and drummer Eddie Andrade. With this news, the band have also announced the addition of former guitarist Mike De La O and new bassist Noah Young (ex-Warbringer) to their lineup. Charlie Koryn has also been recruited to record drums on their new album “The Entombment Of Chaos.”

The group commented:

“As some of you have noticed, there has recently been a line up change; Adrian Obregon, Adrian Marquez and Eddie Andrade have parted ways with the band due to personal reasons. We would like to thank them for all and everything that they have contributed to the band throughout the years and would also like to wish them the very best with their future endeavors.

With that being said, Mike De La O will be coming back into the band full time along with Noah Young on bass, which some of you may already know from filling in on the last couple tours. For the remainder of the year we have a couple friends that will be helping us out with live shows but we are still in need of a full time drummer.

If you are interested, or know someone who may be interested, please contact us via email or through our social media pages. We are scheduled to enter the studio later this month to begin the recording our new album entitled “The Entombment Of Chaos”. The album will be tracked at Trench Studios (Corona,CA) and will be mixed and mastered by Dan Swano with Art coming again Dan Seagrave.

Our good friend Charlie Koryn will be handling drums on the new album. Right after wrapping up the recordings we will hit the road and perform at a whole bunch of festivals!

Hope to see you all on the road.
