Bound In Fear Premiere New Song “Scar Of Man” Featuring Alluvial’s Kevin Muller

Bound In Fear have premiered a new song titled “Scar Of Man.” This track features Alluvial’s Kevin Muller and it will appear on the band’s new album “Penance,“ which is set to be released on October 15. The group commented:

“‘Scar Of Man‘ is an experimental track for Bound In Fear, but highlights a new side to the band’s music that will be demonstrated on ‘Penance‘ – technical guitar parts fit comfortably with the downtempo and beatdown patterns that our fans will recognize. We look forward to hearing and seeing people’s reactions to the new aspects of our sound – not only on the record, but when we bring the new songs to stages across Europe and the UK in 2021 and 2022.”

Alluvial Premiere “40 Stories” Music Video

Alluvial (ex-The Faceless, ex-Suffocation, etc.) have premiered a new video for their new song “40 Stories.” This track is from the band’s new album “Sarcoma,” which will be released on May 28. Guitarist Wes Hauch commented:

“I’m really all chips in for every song on ‘Sarcoma‘, but ‘40 Stories‘ is one that we’re especially proud of. It was originally going to be an instrumental. The lyrics are loosely based on a suicide story, and it’s one of a handful of songs on the record where I sing. I think we are always going to have a strong footing in the sound that’s been established with ‘Ulysses‘ and ‘Thy Underling‘, but ‘40 Stories‘ kinda poured out of us.”

Alluvial (Ex-The Faceless, Etc.) Premiere New Song “Thy Underling”

Alluvial (ex-The Faceless, ex-Suffocation, etc.) have premiered a new song titled “Thy Underling.” This track is from the band’s new album “Sarcoma,” which will be released on May 28. Guitarist Wes Hauch commented:

“The first half of the song is from the perspective of a scornful entity. The idea is that a wraith and aims to confuse and debilitate the host ‘Until he rots and lies stinking in the earth’, a line borrowed from one of my favorite movies. The second half is from the perspective of the host. The content is based on an ongoing experience I have, but I think anyone could apply it to something familiar to them.”

Alluvial (Ex-The Faceless, Etc.) To Release New Album “Sarcoma” In May, Premiere “Ulysses” Video

Alluvial (ex-The Faceless, ex-Suffocation, etc.) have announced that their new album “Sarcoma” will be released on May 28. You can find a video for the effort’s first single “Ulysses” below:

Guitarist Wes Hauch said the following about the song:

“I was always in trouble in my small hometown. After going to a county jail, I joined the military and took orders as an Equipment Operator bound for the US Naval Mobile Construction Battalions. The enlisted side of the military are all misfits of one kind or another. Because of this, it’s really a continuation of high school. The military continued raising us, for better or worse.

In 2005, I deployed to Iraq and convoyed throughout Baghdad for seven months. If you were in Iraq from 03 to 08, it was generally pretty bad. Because of that, I wouldn’t call my experience in Iraq “unique,” it was just a hot time over there. If you convoyed, you were gonna get shot at, and you were gonna deal with IED’s.

If you were in a camp, you were gonna get mortared. If you were infantry and you were kicking down doors, god bless you, you were gonna have it the worst out of anyone. ‘Ulysses’ is a glossary of my hindsight on that experience.”

He also added the following about the “Sarcoma” album title:

“‘Sarcoma‘ is a type of cancer that grows from connective tissue in the body. At the end of working on everything, Kevin [Muller] pinpointed that each song on the record was about the different perils that happen at the hand of one man to another. These perils live in our connections to one another, so ‘Sarcoma‘ became an apt title.”

“Sarcoma” Track Listing:

01. “Ulysses”
02. “Thy Underling”
03. “Sarcoma”
04. “40 Stories”
05. “Zero”
06. “Exponent”
