Bleed From Within Postpone European Leg Of Their Fall Tour With Ingested & Kill The Lights

Bleed From Within have postponed the European leg of their fall tour with Ingested and Kill The Lights. Despite this, the UK dates are still on.

Bleed From Within commented:

“Due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, we have sadly made the decision to postpone our upcoming European tour dates that were set to take place in November 2021. Varying restrictions across mainland Europe have ultimately put a stop to our touring plans and have left us with no choice. The UK dates will remain unaffected by this and will be going ahead as planned.

The new European dates are still to be confirmed as our schedule for next year continues to fill up, however we are looking at all available options to bring a headline show to you in 2022! Refunds are of course available from your point of purchase should you want one.

Words can not describe how much we want to get back out there and see you all, but for now please take care and look after yourselves. We WILL see you again soon Europe!

Cheers – Ali, Scott, Goonzi, Davie, Steven.’”

Ingested Sign With Metal Blade Records

Ingested have signed a new deal with Metal Blade Records and are currently working on a new album for the label. The band commented:

“We are proud to announce we have signed a new worldwide deal with Metal Blade Records! Metal Blade is a legendary label, with a roster of legendary artists and we are very proud to say that after 15 years as a band, we now stand amongst them. We are super excited about this next step in our journey and can’t wait to bring you more music, more videos and more shows than ever before, worldwide. Welcome to the Metal Blade era of Ingested!”

Ingested Part Ways With Unique Leader Records

Ingested have parted ways with Unique Leader Records. The band said that the label are “100% supportive of [their] decision.”

The group issued the following statement:

“The 5 years spent with Unique Leader Records have been amazing for Ingested, and the path we’ve made together is cemented with our most successful releases and period to date.

It hasn’t been an easy ride since 2016, the passing away of the legendary Erik Lindmark was a very difficult period for the label and our longtime friend Jamie Graham has worked tirelessly to secure the future of the label and develop Unique Leader as a major player of the modern extreme metal scene.

You hear all sorts of stories of bands leaving labels and speculation ensues…but to make it clear, Unique Leader Records are not only understanding, but also 100% supportive of our decision to take the next steps in our career as a band.

We are eternally grateful to Erik, Jamie and the entire Unique Leader family for their contribution to the band and are proud to say that we share a history together. We truly wish you the best of luck for the future and it is with a heavy heart that it’s now time for us to say goodbye.”

Unique Leader Records added:

“The Slam Kings have posted some news from their page about the next chapter moving forward. No band has ever done this for us so we really appreciate it ❤️

4 full length albums and 2 EPs later, we wish Ingested all the best in the next step of their careers! We love you guys!!! You deserve all the success and will always be Unique Leader family!”

Hellfest organizers commented:

“Hellbangers,

What can we say except that we are proud (and excited) to finally unveil the long-awaited line up of our anniversary edition! Keeping such a line up as a secret for several weeks has been no easy task, especially in the last few days…

It’s been more than 16 months since our work rhythm was turned upside down by the arrival of this virus, since the live music industry was extinguished. Despite this, our confidence has never been affected and we have kept working with a positive mindset.

The frustration of two years without a festival has led us to dream even bigger about our reunion! In 2022, we are offering a new and unique format spread over 10 days! Never done before, this formula will, without a doubt, remain in the history of so-called “extreme” music! Twice as historic, because this formula is meant to exist only in 2022 and will not happen again in the years to come.

After a first weekend from 17 to 19th June 2022, we double the fun with an additional weekend from 23rd to 26th June! A real marathon that will see no less than 350 artists on 6 stages!

As usual, the festival does not deviate from its principles: you will see artists capable of performing in stadiums, with artists who are usually playing in smaller venues, and for some even in pub caves. Punk, Heavy, Black, Hardcore, Death, Stoner, Pagan, Power, we have done our best to put together what we believe to be the “edition of the century”.

No need to list the program in detail as you are not, and for the second year, headbanging at the festival right now. You can find out all this by yourself, at home or with your friends, enjoying our virtual edition “Hellfest From Home“! (More information over here : fromhome.hellfest.fr)

This exceptional edition is also an opportunity for us to thank the pass holders who have been waiting for more than 2 years. Your loyalty and trust have kept us going and we do not have enough words to thank you. It seemed fair to us that you should access the ticket sale 24 hours before the public sale in order for you to obtain your ticket for sure.

We are aware that some of you, for professional, family or simply financial reasons, will not be able to attend this XXL edition. By going through (and only through!) our partner TICKETSWAP (please stop Viagogo and others…), you will be able to resell your pass for the weekend you are the least interested in, and thus make one more happy fan!

For all the others who will have the chance to live these 10 days of anthology with us, we promise that you will remember our reunion! As a bonus, we might even make you a nice “FINISHER” t-shirt so that this moment will remain engraved forever in your memories. Once in a lifetime celebration!

Last but not least, we could not finish without thanking all those who have supported us during these last months. Volunteers, intermittents, sponsors, service providers, media partners, people from Clisson, we are all eager to see you again and to live with you this future adventure, which promises to be historic!

Stay Strong. Stay Safe.

Ingested To Release Re-Recorded Version Of “The Surreption” In July, Premiere “Manifesting Obscenity” Video

Ingested will be releasing a re-recorded version of their 2011 album “The Surreption” on July 30. You can find a video for the re-recorded version of “Manifesting Obscenity” from the effort below:

Vocalist Jason Evans commented:

“As some of you may know, the 10th anniversary of our second album ‘The Surreption‘ is fast approaching, and what better way to celebrate than to unleash this beast upon the world once more? That’s right, we have been holed up in the Ingested lockdown bunker hard at work to bring to you our second album the way we always wanted it to be.

This isn’t a remix, or a remaster, this is a complete re-recording, a reimagining of an important, but often forgotten step in the path of Ingested. We never got to do a music video for the original release of ‘The Surreption‘ and we think that’s a shame, so feast your eyes and ears on our video for ‘Manifesting Obscenity‘, and fire up the pre-orders for ‘The Surreption II‘, because this bad motherfucker is available July 30th on Unique Leader Records.”
