  • Threat Signal Premiere New Song “Exercise The Demon”

Threat Signal have premiered a new song titled “Exercise The Demon.” You can find a video for that track below. The single is from the band’s new album, “Revelations,” which will be released on March 27.

  • Vomitory Premiere “For Gore And Country” Video

Vomitory have premiered a new video for their new song “For Gore And Country.” This track is from the band’s new album, “In Death Throes,” which will be released on April 10.

Drummer Tobias Gustafsson had the following to say about the new song:

“‘For Gore And Country‘ charges forward relentlessly just like the rotting hordes in the lyrics do. Starting off with a classic Vomitory grind, then diving headfirst into a total headbanging party, to then take off again into grind and D-beat turmoil. Oh wait! Another headbanging party towards the end of the song! For gore and country, we endure!”

He also added the following about the album:

“‘In Death Throes‘ picks up where ‘All Heads Are Gonna Roll‘ left off, but we’ve turned the intensity up a notch. [New guitarist] Christian [Fredriksson] quickly found his place and even contributed music to four killer tracks. These additions bring a bit of diversity to our sound without straying too far from the formula.”

  • Tomahawk: “There Is No New Music Planned”

As previously reported, Tomahawk are planning to reunite for a summer tour with Melvins. However, the band have since confirmed that this latest reunion will not include new music.

    The group commented:

“As most of you know, today is our artist ticket presale for the upcoming tour dates. Just use the very creative password: FLASHBACK

We tried to keep tickets as affordable as possible for these shows. We know horrible fees get added as well. Sharing the stage with the Melvins makes this an even better deal. There will not be any other band on the bill.

To answer some of the questions we are getting, we will not be adding more cities to this run, we don’t hate your city, we don’t purposely avoid you and we sure as hell don’t hate Canada (we understand that our Canadian friends might not look forward to crossing the border these days, but we do have several shows not too far from you if you can stomach it). There is no new music planned. No meet and greets or any of that special package stuff. Oh and we are not taking song requests, thats not how concerts work.

We are all busy with other things and not as young as we used to be so we crammed as many dates into the period that we were all available. Our booking agent solicits offers and routes the dates based on the offers received. Believe it or not we don’t get offers from EVERY city.

As of this very moment, we do not have any other touring plans in 2026. However, we are in constant contact with our agents and working on our individual schedules to see if there is interest and we might have time to visit more of you, in other countries, in 2027. Stay tuned. Thank you for welcoming us back!

    Tom A. Hawk”

  • Iron Maiden Announce Australian/New Zealand Tour With Megadeth

Iron Maiden have added an Australian/New Zealand leg to their “Run For Your Lives” world tour. Megadeth will serve as support.

    Tour Dates:

11/07 Auckland, NZ – Spark Arena
11/11 Adelaide, AUS – Adelaide Entertainment Centre
11/13 Melbourne, AUS – AAMI Park
11/15 Sydney, AUS – Allianz Stadium
11/18 Brisbane, AUS – Brisbane Entertainment Centre

    Bassist Steve Harris commented:

“We are very excited to be bringing this tour to Australia & New Zealand later this year. And even more so as we are bringing Megadeth with us. Dave and I have been friends for years and we are very proud to have them as our special guests on their last-ever world tour. I think our fans will really appreciate this and it will make it an even more memorable show for everyone. We very much look forward to getting down there to see you all at the end of 2026!”

    Manager Rod Smallwood added:

“We are delighted to be returning to Australia and New Zealand just two years after our last visit to that part of the world. It’s always a great experience playing to our fans there, and we know they really appreciate seeing us whenever we can visit. And this time we are playing some new outdoor venues too, including the Allianz Stadium in Sydney and AAMI Park in Melbourne. I can promise our fans that they are in for a real treat with this setlist and show. The band have been loving revisiting this era and especially enjoy playing these songs with the state-of-the-art visuals we’ve created to accompany them. We’ve got all the big ones from the early days including ‘Hallowed Be Thy Name,’ ‘Run To The Hills,’ ‘Phantom of the Opera,’ ‘Trooper,’ ‘Number Of The Beast,’ ‘Killers,’ ‘Powerslave,’ ‘2 Minutes To Midnight’ and more. Plus there’s some true epics including ‘Rime of the Ancient Mariner’ and ‘Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son,’ which will be even more special because these shows will be at the very end of ‘The Run For Your Lives Tour,’ and so the final time the band will ever be playing a number of these songs.

One thing to add, it was really special on our European dates last year to see that the vast majority of our fans appreciated and respected our request to severely limit their use of phones at our concerts, ideally just keeping it in their pockets the whole time, especially in those standing areas in front of the stage. Our fans’ understanding and cooperation made a colossal difference to the atmosphere of every show and increased the enjoyment enormously for the band and fans alike. Therefore we ask all our fans in Australia and New Zealand to do the same and enjoy the show ‘in the moment’ rather than film on their phones. Please keep them in your pockets.

As it was first ‘tested’ in Australasia on ‘The Future Past Tour’ we will be bringing the now hugely popular Eddie’s Pop-up Dive Bar experience back over with us. Our European fans loved these too and we’re convinced that the mix of Maiden fans, Trooper Beer & exclusive Tour merch makes for a winning combination.

Likewise, we will continue to offer the well-loved Trooper VIP Experience at all venues.”

This news comes after the band recently confirmed that the “Run For Your Lives” will end in Japan.
