    The group commented:

“It is not everyday that you can celebrate the history of your band with such a unique set of circumstances. Playing at home after so many years, in front of our people, at the National Hall, with the National Orchestra, was something we never imagined would even be a possibility. But when the opportunity appeared, we just couldn’t say no, and we knew we wanted to have this whole experience immortalized for everyone to take part in it. This show is a way of coming full circle, from a crappy rehearsal room and our first shows in clubs, to being able to perform at such an iconic place in our country. Please join us for this special show. Welcome to Persefone. Welcome to Andorra.”

“‘Living Waves‘ has to be one of the most important songs in our catalog. At least, that’s what we feel from the crowd every time we perform it live. Maybe it’s because we had the chance to work with Paul Masvidal, one of our biggest inspirations in music. Maybe it’s because of the deep meaning of the lyrics, or just because it has its own particular energy. This performance really makes the song shine, and it was a no-brainer for us to share it with everyone as one of the singles for the release.”

  • Periphery Recruit Drummer Anup Sastry For Upcoming Tour

Periphery have recruited drummer Anup Sastry for their fall tour with Spiritbox and Honey Revenge. He will be filling in for Matt Halpern during the trek.

    Halpern commented:

“Hey everyone! Matt here… I wanted to let you know that I’ll be sitting out our upcoming tour supporting Spiritbox. I have some important family-based commitments here at home, and after discussing at length with the guys in the band and our team, we’ve decided that family should come first and should take precedence.

All is good with the band and at home, so please don’t be concerned in any way, AND, I’m pleased to say that our very good friend Anup Sastry is going to be filling in for me on the tour, which means the shows will absolutely rip! He’s an amazing drummer and close pal of the band, so if you get to check out one of the shows, you’ll be in for a treat. Thanks very much for your understanding in the matter, and make sure to grab tickets to the tour now at periphery.net. Cheers!”

  • The Pretty Wild Team Up With Magnolia Park For New Song “AFTERLIFE”

The Pretty Wild have recruited Magnolia Park for a new song titled “AFTERLIFE.” You can check that out below. The track is from The Pretty Wild’s new album, “zero.point.genesis,” which will be released on November 21.

The Pretty Wild’s Jules Wylde commented:

“‘AFTERLIFE‘ circles the idea of star-crossed souls bound by something ancient and unbreakable. Conceptually it’s plucked from the kind of love you find in mythology and old tragedies, where you have this obsessive devotion and destruction. It isn’t perfect, but it’s dark, beautiful, and eternal.”

    Jyl Wylde added:

“‘AFTERLIFE‘ explores the idea that love dynamics are rooted in codependent magnetism and resonance patterns. it asks, what happens when obsession doesn’t end with death, but carries ur soul into magnetizing eternal dynamics? the result is kinda tragic and romantically glitchy. it’s basically a pop-metal requiem.”

  • Entheos Premiere “Empty On The Inside” Music Video

Entheos have premiered a new video for their new song “Empty On The Inside.” Vocalist Chaney Crabb commented:

“‘Empty On The Inside‘ is a raw, cathartic song about pouring your entire soul into something that you thought would bring fulfillment to your life, but it only makes you feel empty in return. It is Entheos in our purest form, expanding on our grunge and alternative metal sound. This track truly marks the beginning of a new era for our band.”

  • Malevolent Creation’s Phil Fasciana Exits Current Tour: “I Really Believed I Was Healthy Enough To Do That Tour”

Malevolent Creation’s Phil Fasciana has exited the band’s current North American tour. This news comes after the guitarist was recently placed in an induced coma after being hospitalized with bacterial pneumonia.

    Fasciana said the following:

“I must apologize to my friends, family and most importantly my band members — Chris Cannella, Jesse Jolly and Ronnie Parmer — for my stupidity on our North American Tour with Kataklysm Vader and Skeletal Remains and everyone involved on the Carnival of Death Tour.

“I really believed I was healthy enough to do that tour. But one day before the tour started in Tampa, Florida I received some very heavy prescription medication for my lungs and heart by my doctor from complications sustained in France which left me in a coma because of bacterial pneumonia and 3 weeks in ICU coughing out the blood that filled my lungs. My doctor contacted me a few days into the tour and told me do not drink alcohol on these medications because it could kill me. And like an Idiot I was drinking ridiculous amounts of Jack Daniel’s and everything came to a halt in Los Angeles when I stepped off the tour bus and walked into a bar at 11am and drank ungodly amounts of whiskey before our show at the Whiskey A Go Go (how ironic) and nearly killed myself and had to leave the tour.

“I am still deathly sick and I am home and have to see multiple doctors and find out if I am ok or did permanent damage to myself. I take responsibility for my actions and all I can say I am very sorry to everyone involved on the Carnival Of Death Tour. I have to get ultrasounds on my aorta and x-rays on my entire chest cavity on October 21st and if they don’t find anything life threatening I would like to finish the remaining dates on the tour if possible. Once again I am very sorry and I really let down a lot of people because of my stupid decisions.”

  • MØL Premiere “Garland” Music Video

MØL have premiered a new video for their new song “Garland.” This track is from the band’s new album “DREAMCRUSH,” which will be released on January 30.

“With each release, MØL are seeking to weave powerful imagery into both sound and vision, forging a sense of coherence across the singles while expanding the themes of ‘DREAMCRUSH‘. To bring this vision into focus, MØL once again worked with filmmaker John Bradburn, whose eye and creative spirit we fully trust to illuminate the album’s core ideas.”

Guitarist Nicolai Busse also commented on the album:

“’DREAMCRUSH’ is an album about our hopes and aspirations being both a source of comfort and dismay. It’s about finding home within yourself and coming to terms with reality when the pillars of our lives are shook. The album is deeply personal to us and inspired by events from our lives that we are certain also resonates with other people.”

  • Cage Fight Premiere “Pig” Music Video

Cage Fight have premiered a new video for their new song “Pig.” Vocalist Rachel Aspe commented:

“‘Pig‘ is the expression of my disgust of men sending unsolicited intimate pictures, messages, crossing boundaries and harassing women digitally. I’ve had hundreds over the years, and it’s crazy to think that everyday women regularly get these messages. I just wanted to scream my hatred to them, raise awareness of the issue and show solidarity to other women who experience this abuse.”
