Manowar Working On “The Final Battle II” EP, Putting Finishing Touches On DVD/Blu-Ray Featuring Mexico Show

During a recent interview with The Metal Circus, Manowar bassist Joey DeMaio offered an update on the band’s current plans. He said the following:

“We are currently completing a DVD and Blu-ray of our first-ever show in Mexico with an amazing 8K video production. We’re in the studio recording songs for the next EP, ‘The Final Battle II’, and we are already preparing the massive production for our 40th-anniversary tour that will kick off in spring 2021.”

Metallica Reveal Details For “S&M²” Live Album/Film

Metallica have officially revealed the details for their “S&M²” live album/film. The effort will be released on August 28 and it will feature the band’s September 2019 shows with the San Francisco Symphony, which were held at the Chase Center in San Francisco, CA.

Kamelot To Release “I Am The Empire – Live From The 013” DVD/Blu-Ray In August

Kamelot will be releasing a new live album/DVD/Blu-ray titled “I Am The Empire – Live From The 013” on August 14. The effort was recorded during the band’s September 14, 2018 show at the 013 in Tilburg, Netherlands. With this news, the group have also released a new live video for “Sacrimony (Angel Of Afterlife)” featuring Arch Enemy’s Alissa White-Gluz and Amaranthe’s Elize Ryd.

Tommy Karevik said the following about the new video:

“We can now proudly announce that the first video to be released from the show will be ‘Sacrimony (Angel Of Afterlife)’. The song marks the beginning of a new era as it was one of the main songs on ‘Silverthorn’, the first Kamelot album with me as the singer. Enjoy!”

Danzig’s “Verotika” To Receive Blu-Ray/DVD Release In February

Glenn Danzig‘s feature film directorial debut “Verotika” will officially receive a Blu-ray/DVD release on February 25. According to Amazon, the movie will come as a three-disc set featuring a Blu-ray, a DVD, and a CD containing the soundtrack. The film is an anthology based on three characters and storylines from the frontman’s “Verotik” comic series and the cast includes Ashley Wisdom, Rachel Alig, Alice Haig, Kayden Kross, etc.
