Static-X commented:

“We are so excited to finally get back out on the road. We plan to play most of the songs off of both ‘Machine‘ and ‘Wisconsin Death Trip‘, as well a number of nice surprises that are being incorporated into the set list. It is going to be awesome to have Fear Factory, Dope, & Mushroomhead back out on the road with us to share in all of this nostalgic insanity.

All in all, this package is going to be one for the ages and we can’t wait to get out there and celebrate 20 years of our ‘Machine‘ record, while we continue to remember all of the good times that we had with Wayne and to share it live and loud with all of our fans night after night.”

Fear Factory‘s Dino Cazares continued:

“I’m beyond excited to finally turn the Fear Factory machine back on and start crushing stages alongside our longtime friends in Static-X.”

Dope‘s Edsel Dope added:

“We are honored to be part of this tour. Static-X, Fear Factory, & Dope toured together back in 1999. It was the first time that we all met, and it laid the foundation for all of the tours that Dope and Static have done together. I can’t wait to get back out there and get crazy with all the fans!”

In other news, Static-X will also be releasing a 20th anniversary edition of “Machine“ on February 18. The effort has been remastered by Ulrich Wild and it will feature three bonus tracks: “I’m With Stupid” (Live 2019 Regeneration), “Wisconsin Death Trip” (Live 2019 Regeneration), and “Sweat Of The Bud” (Live 2019 Xer0).

Twiztid Premiere New Video For “Neon Vamp” Featuring Cradle Of Filth’s Dani Filth

Twiztid have premiered a new video for their latest single “Neon Vamp.“ That track features Cradle Of Filth’s Dani Filth and it will appear on the band’s new album “Unlikely Prescription,” which is set to be released on September 10.

Twiztid’s Jamie Madrox previously commented:

“I’ve always respected Dani Filth and the legacy he has etched out in the world of metal and wondered what would it sound like if our musical worlds collided like peanut butter & chocolate! And like a true legend he rose to the challenge and what we recorded is the most anticipated collaboration effort in a great long while!

Filth added:

“It was awesome to collaborate on a such a genre (monster) mash-up with the guys in Twiztid.

Slightly reticent at first, when I heard the track i was like, ‘this is actually very very sick!’ and the vampiric subject matter quickly decided it for me. I really like the song, it’s bristling with dark energy and it definitely carries that ‘Blade’ nite-club vibe about it’s rap/metal swagger. I hope fans of both both bands and genres enjoy the track just as much as I did in helping forge the beast.

Like a vampire telling you to suck it, having a nice day?

We’re here to corrupt it!!!

Hell yeah!”

Charnas commented:

“Ever since we shared the stage with them on the last ‘Warped Tour‘, we knew that at some point we would need to collaborate with the like-minded horror fanatics known to the world as, Twiztid. This sick idea has finally become a reality…”

Twiztid‘s Monoxide added:

“Once again I think we have outdone ourselves. We’ve created something that we think you’ll truly be blown away by. We are thrilled to have Spencer on the track, we knew this was something that needed to happen when we met in 2018.”

Mindless Self Indulgence & Twiztid Members Cover Duran Duran’s “Hungry Like The Wolf”

Mindless Self Indulgence’s Jimmy Urine (aka James Euringer) and Twiztid‘s Jamie Madrox have recorded a collaborative cover of Duran Duran‘s “Hungry Like The Wolf.“ You can check that out below:

Madrox said the following:

“We toured with MSI back in 1999 on ‘The Amazing Jeckel Bros Tour‘. That’s where I originally met Jimmy and the band. Being a huge fan of Duran Duran, I’ve always wanted to cover one of their songs, and when the convo of a possible collaboration came up, I had my manager pitch him the idea. To which Jimmy responded, ‘Only if it’s ‘Hungry Like The Wolf.’’ The rest is, as they say, musical history.”

Urine added:

“MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE AND TWIZTID CAME UP IN THIS BUSINESS AT EXACTLY THE SAME TIME 20 YEARS AGO, SO YOU KNOW THIS COLLABORATION HAD TO HAPPEN. IT WAS THE PROPHECY, YO LIKE FUCKING DUNE AND SHIT. JAMIE AND HIS TEAM REACHED OUT TO ME ABOUT GUESTING VOCALS ON THIS COVER, AND I WAS LIKE, ‘YEAH, I LOVE DURAN DURAN. PLUS, I AM THE PREMIER 1980S GUEST VOCALIST. I JUST DID ‘ROCK ME AMADEUS’ WITH FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY AND ‘WHAT A FOOL BELIEVES’ AND ‘WUTHERING HEIGHTS’ FOR MY OWN PROJECT EURINGER.

BUT I SAID, ‘YOU HAVE TO LET ME ADD SOME PRODUCTION TO IT BECAUSE I LOVE DOING THAT TYPE OF STUFF.’ THEY WERE LIKE, ‘HELL, YEAH,’ AND I WENT TO TOWN AND HAD A BLAST WITH VOCALS, PRODUCTION AND MIXING. I AM A HUGE DURAN DURAN FAN, HAVING COVERED ‘GIRLS ON FILM’ WITH MSI. DURAN DURAN HAVE SO MANY GOOD GODDAMN SONGS. HOW CAN YOU COVER JUST ONE?”
