Static-X commented:

“We are so excited to finally get back out on the road. We plan to play most of the songs off of both ‘Machine‘ and ‘Wisconsin Death Trip‘, as well a number of nice surprises that are being incorporated into the set list. It is going to be awesome to have Fear Factory, Dope, & Mushroomhead back out on the road with us to share in all of this nostalgic insanity.

All in all, this package is going to be one for the ages and we can’t wait to get out there and celebrate 20 years of our ‘Machine‘ record, while we continue to remember all of the good times that we had with Wayne and to share it live and loud with all of our fans night after night.”

Fear Factory‘s Dino Cazares continued:

“I’m beyond excited to finally turn the Fear Factory machine back on and start crushing stages alongside our longtime friends in Static-X.”

Dope‘s Edsel Dope added:

“We are honored to be part of this tour. Static-X, Fear Factory, & Dope toured together back in 1999. It was the first time that we all met, and it laid the foundation for all of the tours that Dope and Static have done together. I can’t wait to get back out there and get crazy with all the fans!”

In other news, Static-X will also be releasing a 20th anniversary edition of “Machine“ on February 18. The effort has been remastered by Ulrich Wild and it will feature three bonus tracks: “I’m With Stupid” (Live 2019 Regeneration), “Wisconsin Death Trip” (Live 2019 Regeneration), and “Sweat Of The Bud” (Live 2019 Xer0).

Mushroomhead Tentatively Planning To Release New Album In March 2020

Mushroomhead are tentatively planning to release their new album in March 2020. Drummer Steve “Skinny” Felton told Rock Sins that the band are about 80% done with the effort and that “it’s just a matter of finding the right person to mix it and keep [them] on track for [their] deadlines.”

Skinny also revealed that the group did a recording session at Abbey Road Studios in London, England:

“…Basically, we got off the plane and got dropped off at Abbey Road, did a vocal session, then went and did our first show. That’s actually our 2nd time at Abbey Road, we did a vocal session there a year and a half ago and some of that got kept for this new record. Actually Jackie is on 4 of the new songs and 2 of the 4 were recorded at Abbey.

It’s pretty cool just be there, just sitting in the rooms where ‘Dark Side of the Moon‘ was done, where they do all the orchestras, all the soundtrack recordings, it’s crazy when you walk down the halls and see all the posters for ‘Star Wars‘, ‘Harry Potter‘, ‘Indiana Jones‘… So many, you just don’t even think of, it’s pretty crazy but awesome.”

He also added the following about the band’s plans for the record:

“…We’ll finish writing and recording, get to mixing… we’ve got a 4-5 week run in the States from October then we’ll get back to the album and making a video, which is another highlight. I love making video work it’s a lot of fun.”
