Bad Wolves Release “Sacred Kiss” EP

Bad Wolves have released a new EP titled “Sacred Kiss.” The cover art and track listing for that effort can be found below:

“Sacred Kiss” Track Listing:

01. “Sacred Kiss” (feat. Aaron Pauley of Of Mice & Men)
02. “Sacred Kiss” (acoustic version)
03. “Up In Smoke”
04. “The Body”

An official video for a new version of “Sacred Kiss” featuring Of Mice & Men’s Aaron Pauley can be found below. Drummer John Boecklin said the following about that:

“Stoked to have you all hear this collaboration with Aaron Pauley from Of Mice & Men. ‘Sacred Kiss‘ reflects on meeting someone that you quickly fall for and have a preconceived notion of who they are and what it could be, and then quickly realizing it is not what you expected. We made a killer video as well that plays on some of those themes. We had a lot of fun making it. Definitely, our favorite one we have made so far!”

Pauley added:

“I think the song absolutely rips, so I was stoked when the guys reached out to me about doing a new version of it. I really enjoyed recording the song, and had even more fun shooting the video with the guys!”

Bad Wolves Premiere New Song “The Body”

Bad Wolves have premiered a new song titled “The Body.” This track will appear on the band’s upcoming EP. Drummer John Boecklin commented:

“When we were writing this song we had a goal of trying new things. The slap bass and clavichord instantly was new territory for Bad Wolves. It feels good to know this track sounds like nothing we have ever done before. It’s a fun track that feels like a mix of Faith No More with a dash of Daft Punk. Enjoy!”

Earth Groans To Release New EP “The Body” In September, Premiere New Song “Drink”

Earth Groans will be releasing a new EP titled “The Body” on September 3. The effort will feature five tracks including: “Believe,” “Drink,” “Eat,” “Remember,” and “Take.” You can stream “Drink” below. Jeremy Schaeffer commented:

“We all just endured a trying season, and I think I can speak for most everyone when I say the main thing we missed over COVID was community. Yes, missing movies and going out for dinner was a bummer but we were isolated from our family, friends, churches, social, and music communities. It’s a fresh breath of air to return to our communities, our ‘bodies.’ I think we all realized just how much we need each other over the last year-and-a-half. I’m so thankful this season is coming to a close — a life turned bitter will be made sweet again.”

The Body Premiere New Song “A Lament”

The Body have premiered a new song titled “A Lament.” This track is from the band’s new album “I’ve Seen All I Need To See,” which will be released on January 29, 2021.

“I’ve Seen All I Need To See” Track Listing:

01. “A Lament”
02. “Tied Up and Locked In”
03. “Eschatological Imperative”
04. “A Pain of Knowing”
05. “The City Is Shelled”
06. “They Are Coming”
07. “The Handle / The Blade”
08. “Path of Failure”

The new record was engineered by Seth Manchester, who had the following to say:

“It’s a meditation on distortion. We tried pushing the limits of each piece of gear in the studio to hear what its breaking point sounded like and then recorded it—even feeding the console back on itself during one particular live take.”

Matt Colton, who mastered the effort, added:

“The distortion has this ability to envelope you, and not push you away. It has this strange kind of beautiful timbre… once you give into the sheer power of it, and let it take you on a ride then it becomes this whole other kind of sonic experience.”
