  • Chat Pile And Hayden Pedigo Premiere “Demon Time” Video

Chat Pile and Hayden Pedigo have premiered a new video for their new song “Demon Time.” That track is from their new collaborative album “In The Earth Again,” which will be released on Halloween (October 31).

Chat Pile vocalist Raygun Busch commented:

“Speaking to Yeats’ widening gyre, things are falling apart. Bad to worse or painful move towards something better is anyone’s guess, but we are living through a difficult time. The cycle continues forever, though. This is one of the first songs we recorded for the new record and is the wellspring from which the rest of the lyrical ideas flow.”

    Pedigo added:

“This track feels like the gateway to the rest of the album. The calm before the storm. It might be my favorite track on the record just because it sets the tone so well. It’s eerie calm and you know something might be coming around the corner.”

  • Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses) Shares “Fallen Ones” Video From “Lighthouse: Live From London”

Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses) has shared a new live video for his song “Fallen Ones.” The clip is taken from his new live album/film “Lighthouse: Live From London.” As previously reported, that effort was recorded during the musician’s October 5, 2024 show at the Islington Assembly Hall in London, England and it will be available on October 31.

  • Spite Premiere “New World Killer” Music Video

Spite have shared an official video for the title track of their new album “New World Killer.” That effort will be released on October 31. Guitarist Alex Tehrani commented:

“‘New World Killer’ is the conclusion to a looming theme throughout the album — the constant battle between internal monologue and morality in the real world.”

    Vocalist Darius Tehrani added:

“This video portrays the authenticity of the band. Step into the room with Spite. This is what you get.”

  • Silly Goose Premiere “Split” Music Video

Silly Goose have premiered a new video for their new song “Split.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Keys To The City,” which will be released on October 17. Vocalist Jackson Foster said the following about the single:

“[It’s] one of the outliers, and it showcases a different side of what we’re capable of. The raps are more laidback and low-key, and the hook is sing-y. It’s a song about not being ready to move on.”

  • Omnium Gatherum Premiere “Walking Ghost Phase” Music Video

Omnium Gatherum have premiered a new video for their new song “Walking Ghost Phase.” That track is from the band’s new album, “May The Bridges We Burn Light The Way,” which will be released on November 7.

    Vocalist Jukka Pelkonen commented:

“‘Walking Ghost Phase’ is about addiction in its many forms. It is about dullness defeating passion yet the addiction creating a fixation. It is a zombie-like state where one is forced to go through the destructive pattern repeatedly. Self-deception is one of the key topics in this song. How addiction lures one into thinking there is nothing wrong and then it consumes you. The title is a real term used when the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster happened in the ’80s. There were workers exposed to heavy radiation who obviously got sick from it. After a while, they seemed to be cured, but that was only a deception. Soon afterwards they just collapsed and passed away. That is why I linked the ‘Walking Ghost Phase’-state to the idea of addiction.”

    Guitarist Markus Vanhala added:

“Here’s the third OG single down the road — called ‘Walking Ghost Phase.’ This one represents the simpler, straight-forward banger side of the upcoming album; it gets your heads banging and fists pumping. I am really looking forward to playing this one live as it has a feel of an upcoming classic live anthem — luckily we have A LOT of shows coming up. Also fear not; there’s also gonna be some a bit more proggy or advanced stuff on the album. May the bridges we burn light the way!”

  • Evanescence Are “More Than Halfway” Done With New Album

During a recent interview with ALT 105.1, Evanescence singer Amy Lee offered an update on the band’s new album. According to her, the effort is “more than halfway” done.

    Lee said the following:

“We’re in this kind of in-between phase right now because we were touring our last album, ‘The Bitter Truth’, for quite a while and doing a show that had, obviously, songs from all the other albums, but it was centered around that theme and started with that intro and was that thing. And we’re midway through the process of making our next album now. So we just have a handful of shows this year, and it’s that moment where we’re, like, ‘Well, we can’t just like do the old thing anymore,’ and ‘we can’t do the new songs…’ Well, we have two new songs, and we can work them in. But it’s kind of — I don’t know — it’s a weird teenager phase of what we’re doing. It is fun, though. It’s perfect for the festival setup, ’cause if we have — like tonight we have an hour. We can jam-pack an hour full of cool [stuff], like a hit from every album and just make it really fun.”

She continued when asked about her “midway through” comment:

“I’d say we’re more than halfway. We’re really getting there. [I’m] really excited about it.”

Lee also added the following when asked if “Afterlife” will be featured on the album:

“I think so. I don’t see why not. We haven’t really gotten into the track list and that yet, but I think we have all the songs that are gonna be on it at least started, so we’re in that moment of finessing and beautifying and writing lyrics and doing the hard stuff where I slam my head up against the wall.”

  • Enthroned Announce New Album “Ashspawn”, Premiere “Raviasamin” Music Video

Enthroned have revealed the details for their new album “Ashspawn.” The effort will be released on December 5 and it can be pre-ordered HERE.

    “Ashspawn” Track Listing:

    01. “Crawling Temples”
    02. “Basilisk Triumphant”
    03. “Stillborn Litany”
    04. “Ashspawn”
    05. “Raviasamin”
    06. “Sightless”
    07. “Chysalid”
    08. “Ashen Advocacy”
    09. “Assertion”

The following was said about the album:

Ashspawn embodies six years of ritual creation and total artistic unity. Written in collaboration with occult author Gilles de Laval, the album charts a descent into spiritual death and a transformative rebirth, framed by a lyrical architecture of demonology, ritual praxis, and metaphysical calculus.”

A video for the first single, “Raviasamin,” can be found below. The following was added about that:

“‘Raviasamin’ summons arcane forces: serpents, shattered silence, the ‘backwards tree.’ These images tie directly into Ashspawn’s conceptual core of ritual negation and transformation, framing the song as a linguistic and sonic weapon designed to unsettle and reforge rather than merely entertain.
