Abbath (ex-Immortal) ended his August 14 set at the SaariHelvetti Festival in Tampere, Finland during the first song. The frontman, who appeared without his corpse paint, threw his guitar and stormed offstage before blaming the cancellation on health issues. Drummer Ukri Suvilehto told the crowd the following:
“Let’s just say that it probably won’t come as a surprise to anyone that our lead singer is struggling with health problems, so we’re very sorry if this gig has been interrupted. Darkest Hour Recently Filmed Four Music Videos
As previously reported, Darkest Hour recently completed their new album. Now, it appears they have finished filming four music videos as well.

The band commented:
“Just completed the filming of four Incredible music videos in LA under the guidance and vision of the legendary director Thomas Mignone! @officialthomasmignone
This is by far the most intense, involved, and excited we have even been around music videos and their connection to this new album and our songs.
We’re so thankful to Thomas and his amazing team who helped bring these videos to life. Throughout the creative process, heat, long hours, and random bumps in the road they handled everything as true pros and the whole process was even fun!
Also.. shout out to our label MNRK HEAVY who have invested so much into the creation of this album. Truly a team effort over here and the results are going to be unforgettable.
Relieved, excited, exhausted, and inspired as we thank Thomas and let you all know that Album 11, new music, new tour dates, and yes new videos are coming THIS YEAR!”

Slipknot’s Jim Root On His Initial Comments Following Sid Wilson’s Firing: “At The Time I Wrote It… I Didn’t Know What To Believe”
As previously reported, Slipknot recently confirmed the departure of DJ Sid Wilson. However, when TMZ initially broke the news, guitarist Jim Root told fans not to believe everything they read. Now, he has apparently walked back on that statement.

Root said the following:
“You couldn’t even believe what I wrote. At the time I wrote it… I didn’t know what to believe. I stand by it though. I still don’t think anyone should believe everything that they read. Time will tell. As it did for my post that didn’t age well.”
Notably, Stacy Thomson, the wife of guitarist Mick Thomson, also made similar comments about not believing what your read. She has since responded to questions about that statement as well:
“oh stop it wasn’t true when TMZ posted it. And I assure you the guys ALL always give chances.”
The reasons for Wilson’s firing are still unknown. However, TMZ suggested it was related to “the way he treated his bandmates.” Wilson has seemingly been facing allegations from his former fiancé Kelly Osbourne as well. The turntablist has yet comment.
