God Forbid And Bleeding Through Announce January Shows

God Forbid and Bleeding Through have announced a couple of shows together. They will be performing at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ on January 6 and at the Palladium in Worcester, MA on January 7. God Forbid commented:

“When it comes to good news when it rains it pours. Despite doing an incredible reunion show at Blue Ridge Rockfest a couple months back, we knew it wouldn’t be a proper reunion without performing a show in our home area of New Jersey. Those are the fans that have been the loudest and most passionate since the beginning, so it warms our hearts to be able to give back. The Massachusetts metal scene is one of the first places to embrace what God Forbid does so it’s fitting to make an appearance in New England where the metal is in their blood. And to have the legendary Bleeding Through as a part of this makes these performances that much more special. This has been a decade in the making. Make sure you are there to witness history.”

Bleeding Through’s Brandan Schieppati Says He Was Offered A Chance To Try Out For Killswitch Engage In 2002

During a recent appearance on the “Meep Meep Podcast,” Bleeding Through’s Brandan Schieppati revealed that he was offered a chance to try out for Killswitch Engage in 2002. The frontman said the following about that:

“I got asked to sing for Killswitch, when Jesse [Leach] quit the first time. That is a true story. I was in Arkansas with Bleeding Through, Norma Jean, and Every Time I Die – the first Bleeding Through tour we ever did…I just kinda knew that Bleeding Through was my shit. I knew I was gonna leave Eighteen Visions and just do Bleeding Through and I remember their A&R guy hits me up and goes hey ya know the band wants you to try out for Killswitch and at the time…Killswitch was an unknown. They weren’t really poppin’ off yet. Bleeding Through actually was probably bigger than them at that time… They actually asked James [Hart] from Eighteen Visions too. But we both recommended Howard [Jones] and there you go.”

Bleeding Through Premiere New Song “Rage”

Bleeding Through have premiered a new song titled “Rage.” You can stream that track below:

Brandan Schieppati commented:

“Screaming into a microphone and playing music with my friends after 20 plus years and after a pandemic seemed like an impossibility. Low and behold here we are creating music again.

Personally the last few years has been a total mental battle. This music is my weapon against doubt and depression.

The song ‘Rage‘ was created with the anger and frustration built up over the last few years. This song is us joining the fight to have music heal a struggling world.

‘Rage‘ is the sound of 20 plus years as a band and years of built up aggression. No bullshit. Straight up Bleeding Through.”
