Lucifer Team Up With Kadavar For New Split Covers Release

Lucifer and Kadavar have teamed up for a new split single. The release includes Lucifer’s cover of Dust’s “Pull Away/So Many Times” and Kadavar’s cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Green Manalishi (With The Two Prong Crown).” Both tracks can be streamed below. 7-inch vinyl pressings will also be available on March 19. Lucifer’s Johanna Sadonis commented:

“Both Kadavar and Lucifer have their roots in Berlin and we go back to the founding days of both bands where we shared the same scene. With our combined love for the deep cuts of the ‘60s and ‘70s we decided to cover two of our favorite songs together for a 7″ single. We picked Marky Ramone’s criminally underrated, glorious first band Dust. It is the first time that I duet together with our guitarist Linus Björklund and we had a blast recording it! Kadavar most relevantly chose to pay homage to the late Peter Green with this classic Fleetwood Mac number. Being a huge Fleetwood Mac fan myself this is the perfect choice to round off this nugget. We are very excited about this single and hope you dig our tributes!”

Sacred Reich & Iron Reagan To Release New Split 7″

Sacred Reich and Iron Reagan have announced that they will be releasing a new split 7″ on April 19. The effort is limited to 1000 copies and it will come with Sacred Reich‘s new song “Don’t Do It Donnie” and Iron Reagan‘s exclusive track “They Scream.” Sacred Reich‘s Phil Rind commented:

“We are stoked to do a split with Iron Reagan. When we began as a band in 1986 we were influenced lyrically by punk bands and the Reagan era. This is a great way to get back to our roots. The song is a heavy and cheeky middle finger to the politics of today. You’d think we’d have learned by now. There is a reason our first record is called ‘Ignorance‘.”

Full Of Hell & Intensive Care Stream New Split

Full Of Hell and Intensive Care have surprise released a new split 7″. The physical copy is already sold out, but you can stream it and get a digital copy via Bandcamp. Full Of Hell said the following:

“Intensive Care is the latest in a lineage of bands that have invariably and irrevocably defined much of the DNA of Full of Hell (Endless Blockade, Column of Heaven) This split represents two sides of a not so familiar brain. The grey matter on the FOH side examines the plausible and isolating crush of alienation, the regality and loneliness of power, as well as a cover of Brutal Truth’s Collateral Damage. Limited simply to 500 copies on black and never to be repressed and featuring artwork by our own @theevaultofheaven .. Numb your Mind.”

Ghoul Team Up With Ill Bill For New Split 7″

Ghoul have teamed up with rapper Ill Bill for a new split 7″, which is set to be released on May 11. The effort, which can be streamed below, will include Ghoul‘s “Splatterthrash 2: Thrash Damage“ and Ill Bill‘s “Pentagram” feat. Goretex. Ghoul commented:

“Ghoul is disgusted to announce our split with the dynamic duo of Ill Bill and Goretex! Your ears will hear but your mind will not survive the molten metal and hardcore hip hop served raw on wax by Tankcrimes and Uncle Howie Records! Go forth and ill!”

Ill Bill added:

“Ghoul is one of the few great bands that are next level enough to have birthed this idea in the first place. They saw the potential fun in putting out a record like this and then actually took it from just another sick idea to making it a reality. I’d say the mutual admiration and vibes is why the record came about and why this split speaks the same language even though both genres are very different.”

Between The Buried And Me & The Dear Hunter Post Teaser For Split 7″

Bloodbath & Autopsy To Release New Split 7″

Bloodbath and Autopsy will celebrating Peaceville‘s 30th anniversary with a new split 7″. The effort will be available on December 15, and it will feature Bloodbath’s cover of Cancer‘s “Blood Bath” and Autopsy’s cover of “Fuck You!!!” from the 1980s West Oakland group Bloodbath. You can preorder it HERE.

Bloodbath commented:

“Most of you would know this already, but for those of you who don’t, it was the title of the first song, on the first album by UK death metallers Cancer, which we originally lifted our band name from. Now with Peaceville celebrating its 30th anniversary, there would be no better token than offering this cover song to glorify the old school, brutal and trashy death metal legacy of Cancer fucking Cancer, once more! And as if it couldn’t get any better, we’ve the honor to split these seven inches with gore legends Autopsy who also bathe in their own blood!”

Autopsy added:

“‘Fuck You!!!‘ is a cover song of a cover song….and the only song we’ve ever considered covering. Eric and I loved the version that Danny‘s old band Bloodbath did before we even knew Danny, let alone knowing that he’d end up joining Autopsy. And Danny didn’t even know it was a cover song at the time! Got it? It’s a crazy world and a crazy song.

It’s also a cool tribute to Dane Petersen (R.I.P.), the original Bloodbath vocalist. We feel we gave it the treatment it deserved….now it’s up to you to crank it up and hold those middle fingers high!.”

Madball & Wisdom In Chains To Release “Family Biz” Split 7″

Madball and Wisdom In Chains have revealed that they will be releasing a split 7″ called “Family Biz” on September 25 via Fast Break Records. The effort will feature one version of the title track to Madball’s new album “For The Cause” (out in 2018), as well as a new Wisdom In Chains track titled “Someday.” As far as the songs go, Madball’s Freddy Cricien said “For The Cause” is “about staying the course and fighting for what you love and are passionate about. It’s a theme that you’ll hear a lot throughout our next album. Utilizing negativity and the obstacles you face as inspiration. ‘Say I can’t, say I won’t again… Give me the fuel that I need to ascend!’,” while Wisdom In Chains’ Mad Joe Black said “Someday” is “about not living in the past and not fixating on the future. Look at what you have in your life and appreciate the good things and work hard to improve what needs improving. It kind of represents that hardcore work ethic that bands like Madball are known for.” Preorders are available HERE.
