Counterparts Premiere “You’re Not You Anymore” Music Video

Counterparts have premiered a new video for the title track of their latest album “You’re Not You Anymore.” Brendan Murphy commented:

“The YNYA video is a fairly drastic change for us. We are the ‘who gives a shit’ band when it comes to most things other than writing music, so to be able to dabble in such an artistic and professional realm is very cool. The director, Josh Halling, killed it and it feels like we made a mini movie as opposed to a music video. It’s a nice break from our usual performance-heavy video style and I hope you all enjoy it.”

Counterparts Premiere New Song “Swim Beneath My Skin”

Counterparts have premiered a new song titled “Swim Beneath My Skin.” This song is from the band’s new album “You’re Not You Anymore,” which will be released on September 29. Brendan Murphy said the following:

“‘Swim Beneath My Skin‘ is a song about how we allow ourselves to be so vulnerable it feels like another human being is literally making their way through your body. It’s often terrifying but for me, it’s necessary.”
