Mayhem Guitarist Teloch Says He “Tested Positive For A Virus” And Was Exhibiting Symptoms Of COVID-19

Mayhem guitarist Teloch has revealed that he recently “tested positive for a virus” and that he was exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. The guitarist said the following

“Thanks for asking me about my health and demanding me to stay home guys. Turns out my home quarantine got extended. I have tested positive for a virus and I have c19 symptoms. We only do the corona test on people in Norway who is in the risk zone or work in health care. Not enough tests to do us all. I’m already getting better so don’t feel sorry for me. BUT it shows that this virus does not discriminate, even extremely super cool people like me with #4millionnetworth can get shit.”

Hellhammer To Miss Mayhem’s North American Tour Due To Shoulder Infection

Mayhem drummer Hellhammer will be missing the band’s North American tour with Abbath, Gatecreeper, and Idle Hands due to a shoulder infection. During his absence, Tony Laureano (ex-Dimmu Borgir, etc.) will be filling in.

Mayhem commented:

“Hellhammer unable to perform on upcoming Decibel Mag Tour.

Due to a severe shoulder infection caused by osteoarthritis that has plagued Hellhammer for quite some time now, he will unfortunately not be able to perform on the upcoming North America tour. He has been working with a physiotherapist for the last couple of months in the hopes that he would be fully healed before the tour, but has ultimately been ordered to rest for some more weeks.

Filling in for Hellhammer will be Tony Laureano, who has a prestigious track record as a session and drummer for a number of other bands such as Dimmu Borgir, Nile, Angelcorpse, Malevolent Creation, God Dethroned, Acheron, Belphegor, 1349, Brujeria, etc.

Hellhammer comments:

‘See y´all next time!’”
