Watch Anthrax, Lamb Of God, & Nuclear Assault Members Cover Discharge Tracks

Charlie Benante (Anthrax), Scott Ian (Anthrax), Randy Blythe (Lamb Of God), and Dan Lilker (Nuclear Assault) have shared footage of themselves performing Discharge’s “Doomsday” and “The Final Blood Bath” in quarantine. You can watch that below:

Benante commented:

“The influence of @discharge.official on modern aggressive metal cannot be overstated- their speed & abrasive sound made them true sonic pioneers, helping lead to the creation of the thrash and speed metal genres. The four of us are huge fans, and wanted to pay homage to the ones who paved the way for what we do today.”

Tronos (Napalm Death, Etc.) Premiere New Song “Birth Womb”

Tronos, the project led by Shame Embury (Napalm Death, Brujeria, etc.) and producer Russ Russell (At The Gates, Napalm Death), have premiered a new song titled “Birth Womb.” The group said the following:

“Birth Womb” is from the band’s debut album “Celestial Mechanics,” which will be released on April 12. It’s worth noting that Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth, ex-Soilwork) handled the drumming for the effort and that it will also feature Faith No More’s Billy Gould (bass), Mastodon’s Troy Sanders (bass), Voivod’s Denis “Snake” Belanger (vocals), Nuclear Assault’s Dan Lilker (bass), and The Wonder Stuff’s Erica Nockalls (vocals/violin).
