• Cemetery Skyline Premiere “Nothing From This World” Music Video

Cemetery Skyline (Dark Tranquillity, Insomnium, etc.) have premiered a new video for their new song “Nothing From This World.” The track was recorded during the sessions for the band’s 2024 album “Nordic Gothic.”

    Guitarist Markus Vanhala commented:

“This is an ‘old but new song’ from the ‘Nordic Gothic‘ studio sessions, which we decided to shelve in our crypts for a later single release and finally it is time for it to rise. In the video the dark heroine has become empowered, decides to get dressed and sing a last serenade to the dead. We don’t know what happened prior and we really don’t wanna know…”

    Vocalist Mikael Stanne added:

“The song deals with being at odds with oneself. About feeling disassociated from it all to a point where nothing makes any sense. Where loneliness has overtaken the feelings of community and togetherness.”

It feels amazing to share not only the singles you’ve already heard, but also all the other songs that complete the journey. We can’t wait for you to dive into the full record and discover everything we’ve been working on. Alongside the album, we’re thrilled to unveil the brand-new video for ‘Glass Bleeding‘. We chose this track to open the record because it perfectly introduces what’s to come – moving from mellow, moody atmospheres into crushingly heavy riffs and blast beats. It sets the tone for the entire album and paves the way for everything that follows.”

  • ten56. Premiere “Snapped Neck” Music Video

ten56. have premiered a new video for their new song “Snapped Neck.” That track appears on the band’s newly released album “IO.”

Vocalist Aaron Matts commented on the single:

“This track is particular, in the way that it bounces back and forth between confrontational, almost egotistical anger and total vulnerability; we knew that in order to portray this inner battle, that we needed to explore new sounds and vocal atmospheres. This track does a good job of portraying the mental gymnastics that ‘IO‘ tries to encapsulate. We hope you guys feel it.”

The band also added the following about the album:

“We are both excited and, let’s say, relieved to deliver this record. It explores yet uncharted territories for us as a band and encapsulates a period in time for us all on a personal level; a period of difficulty and resilience, hardships and growth. We hope this transparency comes through in these tracks, and touches our listeners but old and new.

We’ve put so much of ourselves into this record and it only exists thanks to those who have taken the time to dip their toes into our universe. This is ‘IO‘. We love you, and we will see you all soon, wherever you are.”

The Yagas, the band fronted by actress Vera Farmiga (“The Conjuring”, etc.), have premiered a new song titled “Illusion.” You can check that out below. Farmiga commented:

“‘Illusion’ is my auditory expression of ‘The Conjuring: Last Rights.’ The Yagas wrote this song whilst I was in the ectoplasm thick of filming C4. The song emerges from a strange convergence of two events – my terrified offspring running into my bedroom, haunted by an out-of-body experience, and my on-screen child, Judy Warren, experiencing psychological torment. ‘Illusion’ is our sonic interpretation of this haunted dreamscape – the fragile space between fear and acceptance; the space where you realize that the things in your head may be much more than just your imagination.”
