311 guitarist Tim Mahoney and drummer Chad Sexton have launched a new project called Sun Will Shine. The band, which also features their longtime collaborator Scotch Ralston on vocals/keys, have just released their self-named debut single:
Superheaven’s “Youngest Daughter” has officially gone platinum in the United States. The RIAA made the certification on August 25. The track appears on the band’s 2013 album “Jar.”
Basement’s “Covet” has officially gone platinum in the United States. The RIAA made the certification on August 27. The track appears on the band’s 2012 album “Colourmeinkindness.”

Phoebe Bridgers recently took part in a studio session for BBC Radio 1‘s Live Lounge. The set found her performing “Lost Boys,” “Bobby,” and a cover of Nirvana‘s “Lithium.” You can see footage of her taking on the latter track below:
