    Andrew Falkous commented:

“Nostalgia – which is a powerful drug, it turns out – brought us back to your shores just a couple of years ago. Some people got to remember what they were like when they were twenty – their hopes, their dreams, their fully operational knee joints. Also, there were attendees who weren’t there the first time out – I know, cos I can count. it was very lovely. the band – well, I, certainly – nostalgia’d all over the place too – it was difficult not to. it was fun (this is an understatement).

Well, now we all get a chance to break free from nostalgia, to prove to ourselves that we’re more than the cast of cocoon sporting telecasters. We (the band) get to play the old songs – the ‘hits’ as a much loved grandparent might have it – and the new ones too (well, probably five or six of them over the course of a set, that’s the magic number for ‘new’). You, hopefully, come along and watch, listen and interact as per the social contract of such events. what do you say? the support bands – which we can’t tell you about yet – are great too. I promise to respond to heckles in a british accent which makes anything I say 23 percent funnier (I’ve checked this with Nate Silver). Damien will dance and flex and repeat ad infinitum. Jack will be the butt of all jokes (on stage, though not in private).

Hope to see you there, unless you’ve got something better on – but I honestly can’t imagine what that could be.”

  • Pincer+ Premiere “Hard 2 Kill” Video

Pincer+ have premiered a new video for their new song “Hard 2 Kill.” The band commented:

“New tuning, new faces, new sound, new approach. We can promise you that without a doubt, Pincer will continue to evolve and develop our sound.”

    A press release added:

”’Hard 2 Kill‘ dives deep into the reality of surviving. The track explores what it means to live with lasting damage, constant self-doubt, and the suffocating weight of feeling disconnected from the world, even through the big moments. It sits in the space between wanting to disappear and stubbornly refusing to quit. At its core, the track strips away any pretense or glamour around resilience.”

  • Nevertel And Sleep Theory Team Up For New Song “Break The Silence”

Nevertel and Sleep Theory have teamed up for new single titled “Break The Silence.” You can find a video for that track below. The song is taken from Nevertel‘s new album, “Start Again,“ which will be released on September 12.

    Nevertel commented:

“‘Break The Silence‘ is a song about being fed up with constantly getting taken advantage of, stepped on, and overlooked. We all know or have known someone in life that has treated you like crap, made you feel small, or pushed you to the breaking point. When this happens with someone you love, it can be hard to address the problem out of fear you’ll be misunderstood or attacked.

You end up in this internal war with yourself asking if it’s even worth it to talk about or not. But just like the song says, sometimes you gotta break the silence and put someone in their place to show them you can’t be cut down anymore. Sometimes the path with resistance is the only way forward, and it’s better to take it than to stay in silence.”

Sleep Theory vocalist Cullen Moore added:

“Being asked to be a part of writing ‘Break The Silence’ is something that’s extremely special to me. Nevertel is a band that I’ve been a fan of for a very long time and now that we’re good friends with them seems unreal. I love these guys. I love what they do and I love the people that they are. I can’t wait for everyone to hear what we’ve put together because I think it’s exactly what people would expect from a Nevertel x Sleep Theory track.”
