• Sylosis Share “All Glory, No Valour” Live Video

Sylosis have shared a new live video for their song “All Glory, No Valour.” That track is from the band’s latest album “The New Flesh.“ The group had the following to say about the song and video:

“‘All Glory, No Valour‘ is a collective favourite from ‘The New Flesh‘. Since the early demos, the song always stood out as one of the most aggressive that the band has ever put together. Instead of a standard video, we agreed that releasing a live version of it at some point would be best so listeners could really connect with the energy of the track. Filmed at our biggest headline show to date at London’s O2 Forum in Kentish Town, this video really captures the essence of our live performance. Catch us live across North America over the next couple of months with Bleed From Within and across UK & Europe early next year with Whitechapel. We’ll see you soon.”

  • Gloria Cavalera Launches Maximum Cavalera Publishing

Gloria Cavalera, wife and manager of Max Cavalera (Soulfly, ex-Sepultura, etc.), has announced the formation of Maximum Cavalera Music Publishing. The venture will help “bring all the Cavalera music under one roof, establishing a dedicated publishing home for the entire Cavalera family catalogue.”

A press release shared more details:

“Gloria Cavalera, a name synonymous with success within the world of heavy metal and rock and roll, has had a dream in mind for years. That dream was to harness all the Cavalera music into one heading, one publishing company, and eventually one record label. Part of her dream has now become reality, as she launches the one and only Maximum Cavalera Music Publishing. This new company will bring all the Cavalera music under one roof, establishing a dedicated publishing home for the entire Cavalera family catalogue, which spans decades, generations, multiple acts, hundreds of recordings, and a legacy that stands the test of time.

First and foremost, Gloria Cavalera is a legendary band manager, holding a central role in heavy music since 1986. As founder and leader of Oasis Management, she has guided and formulated the success stories of all the Cavalera artists’ careers in music and respectfully governed their integrity within the music business.

She’s the mind behind the legacy of Cavalera bands, including but not limited to, Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy, Max and Iggor’s era of Sepultura, Nailbomb, Killer Be Killed, Incite, Go Ahead And Die, Lody Kong and Healing Magic. Under her precise vision and leadership, Oasis Management has developed into a close-knit, artist-focused operation built upon the foundations of long-term career strategy, loyalty and a strong family bond.

Gloria has combined her impressive knowledge and experience with the intellectual property powerhouse of Mandy Salem-Aubry, Managing Director of MSA Music Services and a music publishing and rights specialist with over three decades of international experience. Mandy began working with the Cavalera family in the late 1990’s while at Roadrunner International, overseeing Soulfly’s international promotion and product management.

She has now worked with the Cavalera family for thirty years, building a time-endured, trusting relationship and business partnership that continued from Roadrunner into her subsequent roles at Fintage House and Songtrust, now through MSA Music Services, where she works personally with publishers and rightsholders to create a strong administrative infrastructure and ensure effective global royalty collection.

Finalizing this triangle of feminine power, Gloria has also enlisted the talents and numerical expertise of her own daughter, Roxanne Cavalera, who has worked alongside her mother since she was just a child, absorbing the endless surplus of knowledge, business ethics, and respected demeanor that seems to just run in the blood of the Cavalera family.

Roxanne has firsthand experience of being on the road, assisting with tour managing, settling shows for bands and working on budgets. She has spent the most recent years working at an esteemed accounting firm in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her valuable insight into money-handling will have a definitive impact on Maximum Cavalera Music Publishing.

The company also will partner with Warp Publishing for administration, supporting a catalogue that includes several of Max Cavalera’s landmark works alongside releases from Iggor Cavalera’s PetBrick, Laima Leyton Cavalera, Cavalera Conspiracy, Killer Be Killed, Go Ahead And Die, Incite and Healing Magic.

It should come as no surprise that Max Cavalera will be the publishing company’s first signed artist, a name reputable with a legendary legacy and heralded by masses of heavy metal fans around the world. Maximum Cavalera Music Publishing is the first step in a new age of the music industry, and a true success for Gloria, Mandy and Roxanne, who are sure to take the world of metal by storm!”
