“Fest 19” Postponed To 2021

This year’s edition of The Fest has been postponed to 2021. The event will be held in Gainesville, FL on October 29-31 and it will feature: Gorilla Biscuits, Frank Turner, The Menzingers, Sparta, Torche, Teenage Bottlerocket, Comeback Kid, Sheer Mag, War On Women, and more. Organizers issued the following statement:

“Fest 19 is being postponed to October 29, 30, 31, 2021. We know it has been a hard year for everyone so far, and we do not think it’s possible to safely hold a music festival anytime soon. Luckily we’ve confirmed a ton of bands for the new dates, and we got more coming still! If you bought a pass, hotel or merch; please lookout for an e-mail from Sarasvati with instructions on how to roll those over or get a refund. Please continue doing your part to push our leaders to protect people over profits, stand up for positive social change, and wear a mask! Thank you so much for your patience and we hope to see everyone at Fest 19 in 2021! Full details at: thefestfl.com

Watch War On Women, Unearth, The Black Dahlia Murder, Etc. Members Cover Scandal’s “The Warrior”

“Two Minutes To Late Night” have shared a video of their host Jordan “Gwarsenio Hall” Olds covering Scandal’s “The Warrior” with Shawna Potter (War On Women), Vic (Vile Creature), Ken Susi (Unearth), KW (Vile Creature), and Alan Cassidy (The Black Dahlia Murder). You can check that out below:

The following was said in the video’s description:

“NOT PAT BENATAR! We got our friends to cover this classic karaoke standard from the comfort of their own homes. This song features Shawna Potter of War on Women, Ken Susi of Unearth, Alan Cassidy of The Black Dahlia Murder, and both KW and Vic of Vile Creature.

This is our ninth bedroom cover (we think? How do you count that four-song Panama set?) made with the support of Patreon. With so many musicians stuck at home with no outlets, we’re going to keep producing these style videos and use the Patreon to give some money to everyone who has a part in them. Please support our friends by donating to our newly redone Patreon at www.honorableswords.com.”
