Lars Ulrich was recently interviewed by Citizens Of Humanity, and offered a little bit about the musical direction of Metallica’s new album. He said the effort is “probably a little less frenetic” than “Death Magnetic,” and “a bit more of a diverse.” If things go according to plan the album should be available this fall.…

Heart have premiered a lyric video for the title track of their new album “Beautiful Broken,” via Rolling Stone. This song features guest vocals from James Hetfield (Metallica), and the album will be released on July 8.
James Hetfield was recently asked about Metallica’s new album, during a recent Sharks vs. Penguins game, where Hetfield and Kirk Hammett were set to perform the National Anthem.
