The lineup has been revealed for the NAMM edition of “Ultimate Jam Night.” The event, which is called “Ultimate NAMM Night,” will take place on January 18 at the Hilton Anaheim California Ballroom and it will include an all-star jam featuring: Mike Portnoy (Sons Of Apollo, etc.), Doug “Dug” Pinnick (King’s X, KXM), Doug Aldrich (The Dead Daises, etc.), George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob), Derek St. Holmes (ex-Ted Nugent), Dave Amato (REO Speedwagon), Frankie Banali (Quiet Riot), Mark Osegueda (Death Angel), Kat Dyson (Prince), Divinity Roxx, Alex Skolnick (Testament), Phil Demmel (Vio-lence), Ira Black (Dark Sky Choir, etc.), Chuck Garric (Alice Cooper, etc.), Carla Harvey (Butcher Babies), Michael Spencer (Flotsam And Jetsam), James LoMenzo (ex-Megadeth, etc.), Charlie Benante (Anthrax), Dilana, Tiffany, and more. The concert will also feature full band performances from Jack Russell’s Great White and Hurricane.

I Am Morbid (ex-Morbid Angel, etc.) have parted ways with guitarist Ira Black (Dark Sky Choir, etc.). Kelly McLauchlin (Pessimist, ex-Possessed) will be taking his place in the group.

During the Randy Rhoads tribute show at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, CA last night (March 19), Black Sabbath legend Bill Ward took the stage to perform “Children Of The Grave” with James LoMenzo (ex-Megadeth, etc.), Ira Black (I Am Morbid, etc.), and Dewey Bragg (Kill Devil Hill, etc.). This was the first time the drummer has played the track live in 13 years.

Ex-Morbid Angel members David Vincent and Tim Yeung have reunited in a new band called I Am Morbid. The group, which also features Bill Hudson (Circle II Circle, etc.) and Ira Black (Metal Church, Lizzy Borden), plan to perform material from Morbid Angel’s early albums “Altars Of Madness,” “Blessed Are The Sick,” “Covenant,” and “Domination.” So far, the band are booked to play two dates in Barzil, including a March 24 show in Belo Horizonte and a March 25 show in São Paulo.
