Brady Ebert (ex-Turnstile) has launched a new project called The S.E.T. (aka Self Evident Truth). The band played their first live show last night (September 27) at Zen West in Baltimore MD. That concert also featured Death Threat, Colin Of Arabia, etc. The S.E.T. are also booked for next year’s Disturbin’ The Peace festival in Baltimore, MD.
During Sleep Token’s September 19 set at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, KY, fans were allegedly dropping crowd surfers instead of holding them up. One woman, named Jasmine Vidrine, even suffered a concussion and brain bleed after a crowd surfer was thrown on her head.

Vidrine said the following:
“Hey everybody
I just wanted to pop on here and leave something in hopes that the right people see it. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to enjoy past Friday.. I had to be pulled out of the sleep token crowd due to people tossing a surfer out of anger and he landed directly on top of my head. It knocked me out and I had a seizure once unconscious. There’s not much I remember during those moments. BUT, although I couldn’t see her I could hear an angel of a woman’s voice whom I think was also holding my head off of the ground, telling me I’m okay and not leaving to side till I was carried away. I was in and out of consciousness and wasn’t unaware of most things but kept hearing her comforting words throughout it all. It kept me calm for most of it. So I wanted to send her a huge thank you and anyone else who was involved in helping to get me out of there. I have sustained a major concussion and minor brain bleed.
Now, to the absolutely rude, ignorant, and disrespectful people in that crowd that had not a single care for the well-being of innocent people, the people that tossed that guy on top of me when I didn’t see him coming. When I wasnt prepared for that blow…. I hope you feel like absolute sh*t for it. And if you don’t, I hope there’s a special place for ya
I paid for a four day pass like many others and my time was cut extra short because of what you did and have sustained a very serious injury because of it. Also drove 16 hours from southern Louisiana just to be there.
So… I hope you stub your toe on every single corner you find and I hope your next hangnail rips all the way to your knuckles..
To everyone else I hope you all had an amazing time and I’m enjoying seeing all of the things I missed.”

40 Below Summer will be releasing a new album, titled “Untethered,” on October 10. The band commented:
“Our first album in over 10 years officially drops on Friday, October 10. Those attending our album release show at Starland Ballroom on Saturday, October 11 will have their chance to own “Untethered” on vinyl. Yes, we said vinyl.”

Former Venom members Jeff “Mantas” Dunn and Anthony “Abaddon” Bray will be celebrating the 45th anniversary of “Welcome To Hell” during next year’s Keep It True festival at Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany. The set will take place on April 24 and it will find the duo joined by members of Sodom, Triptykon, Mayhem, Destruction, etc.

Here’s a full list of special guests:
Mantas commented:
“I still vividly recall walking into Neat Records in 1981 to record another set of demos when David Wood, the owner, asked us if we had enough material for an album. We, of course, said ‘yes’ and we were given three days to record our first album, ‘Welcome To Hell’. That, my friends, was 45 years ago, and now we are here at the Keep It True festival to celebrate 45 years of ‘Welcome To Hell’, a groundbreaking album in heavy metal that I am so proud of. This is gonna be an amazing night my friends with so many very special guests. Come celebrate with us. April 24 2026, see you all there. Maximum respect.”
Abaddon added:
“Jeff ‘Mantas’ Dunn and Antony ‘Abaddon’ Bray, will be performing at next year’s Keep It True festival. It will be a celebration of their seminal album… ‘Welcome To Hell’. Mantas and Abaddon, founders of VENOM, will be joined by an amazing lineup of guests from some of the world’s greatest thrash, speed and black metal bands.”
