  • Woman Suffers Head Injuries After Crowd Surfer Gets Tossed On Her During Sleep Token’s Louder Than Life Performance

During Sleep Token’s September 19 set at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, KY, fans were allegedly dropping crowd surfers instead of holding them up. One woman, named Jasmine Vidrine, even suffered a concussion and brain bleed after a crowd surfer was thrown on her head.

    Vidrine said the following:

    “Hey everybody

I just wanted to pop on here and leave something in hopes that the right people see it. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to enjoy past Friday.. I had to be pulled out of the sleep token crowd due to people tossing a surfer out of anger and he landed directly on top of my head. It knocked me out and I had a seizure once unconscious. There’s not much I remember during those moments. BUT, although I couldn’t see her I could hear an angel of a woman’s voice whom I think was also holding my head off of the ground, telling me I’m okay and not leaving to side till I was carried away. I was in and out of consciousness and wasn’t unaware of most things but kept hearing her comforting words throughout it all. It kept me calm for most of it. So I wanted to send her a huge thank you and anyone else who was involved in helping to get me out of there. I have sustained a major concussion and minor brain bleed.

Now, to the absolutely rude, ignorant, and disrespectful people in that crowd that had not a single care for the well-being of innocent people, the people that tossed that guy on top of me when I didn’t see him coming. When I wasnt prepared for that blow…. I hope you feel like absolute sh*t for it. And if you don’t, I hope there’s a special place for ya

I paid for a four day pass like many others and my time was cut extra short because of what you did and have sustained a very serious injury because of it. Also drove 16 hours from southern Louisiana just to be there.

So… I hope you stub your toe on every single corner you find and I hope your next hangnail rips all the way to your knuckles..

To everyone else I hope you all had an amazing time and I’m enjoying seeing all of the things I missed.”
