Torn Open have signed with Blue Grape Music. With this news, the band have also shared a new video for their new song “The Way Things Should End.” That track is from the band’s new EP, “TORN THE FUCK OPEN, VOL. 2,” which will be released on May 1.
A press release offered more insight on the single:
“‘The Way Things Should End’ is intended to be a hard-hitting introduction to a new era, and not just musically. The single checks all the boxes — creative riffing, a groove that makes you want to punch the guy next to you, and meaningful lyrics that address about how political power needs to be directly combatted with violence. Working in tandem with the imagery from the music video, the song creates an astoundingly strong statement, calling out and denouncing the malice inflicted upon many as a product of greed. It aims to point out that there are little to no distinguishing factors between businessmen and politicians anymore, and we are running out of peaceful options when it comes to stopping tyranny.”
