  • Cradle Of Filth Frontman Dani Filth Announces “The Filth: My Life In Devilry And Debauchery” Autobiography

    Cradle Of Filth frontman Dani Filth will be releasing his autobiography, “The Filth: My Life In Devilry And Debauchery,” in June 2027. The book was co-written by Joel McIver and it can be pre-ordered HERE.

    Here’s a synopsis:

  • Nickelback Premiere “Leave Me Behind” Video

    Nickelback have premiered a new video for their latest single “Leave Me Behind.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Everything Under The Sun,” which will be released on October 30. Frontman Chad Kroeger previously commented:

    “There’s a lot of weight in this song, but there’s also a lot of hope. It’s about being there for someone when they’re dealing with the things that have broken them down — picking up the pieces, taking some of that weight off their shoulders, and reminding them they don’t have to go through it alone. At the same time, there’s that feeling of not wanting to be left behind. We liked that tension. It makes the song feel really personal.”

  • Slaughter To Prevail Vocalist Alex Terrible: “I Am Not A Nazi”

    Slaughter To Prevail’s Alex Terrible has issued a new statement on his controversial past. The frontman, who was previously hit with allegations of Nazism, homophobia, and more, says he is “not a Nazi.”

    Terrible said the following:

    “I want to make something very clear to anyone who works with me, wants to work with me, or is considering doing business with me in the future.

    I have big plans for my music, my career, and everything I’m building around it. Over the years, some people and companies have chosen not to work with me because of controversies surrounding my past. Some of them have even told me privately that they respect me and support me, but they’re afraid of how being associated with me might affect their reputation.

    I understand that. Everyone has the right to make their own decision. But I also want people to understand exactly where I stand. I am not a Nazi. I have never considered myself a Nazi, and I never will.

    When I was a teenager in Russia, I spent time around right-wing people and the football hooligan subculture. I knew what the Black Sun was and I knew its history. But within the specific subculture I was part of in Russia at that time, I did not perceive wearing that symbol as a declaration of Nazism or fascism. To me, it represented something extreme, rebellious, and connected to the environment I was surrounded by.

    Looking at it now as an adult, I understand that my personal interpretation of a symbol doesn’t erase its history or what it represents to other people. I understand why people see it and immediately make certain assumptions about me. I also understand that choosing to put that symbol on my body was my decision, and I take responsibility for that decision. But it does not mean that I was, or am, a Nazi.

    At that point in my life, I could barely even leave my house because of panic attacks, depression, and heart problems after an overdose.

    And I’m saying this clearly right now: I am not right-wing. I am not left-wing. I am a musician, a father, and a husband who is trying to understand himself and become a better version of himself every single day.

    If you don’t want to move forward with me or work with me because of the controversy surrounding my past, I understand. But I also won’t work with you in the future.

    A lot of people turned their backs on me in the past, but once I became successful, suddenly they wanted to work with me despite the exact same controversy. No, thank you.

    And to everyone who has worked with me and continues to work with me — every label, band, company, and every person involved — I truly appreciate you. I understand that sometimes you’re putting your own reputation on the line by standing beside me.

    Thank you, genuinely, for not turning your backs on me because of the mistakes I made in my past, and for believing in me as a human being.”

  • Alissa White-Gluz On Voicing Opinions Amid Current Political Climate: “Just Being A Woman In Metal Is Something That Already Puts A Target On My Head”

    During an interview with Viva!, Alissa White-Gluz (ex-Arch Enemy, etc.) opened up about the dangers of voicing opinions amid the current political climate. The singer says “even just being a woman in metal is something that already puts a target on [her] head.”

    White-Gluz said the following:

    “Even just being a woman in metal is something that already puts a target on my head. And, of course, being vegan and being — whatever you wanna call political views. I mean, I’m not American — I can’t vote either way when it comes to those politics — but I obviously agree with some things from both sides, but more leaning towards progressive and liberal values. And that puts a target on my head, too.

    It’s a scary time, for sure. I have friends that are right-wing. I have friends that are carnivore. I have lots of people in my life that I love, and one aspect of who they are doesn’t change the fact that I care about them. I’m not judging their entire personality on one tiny aspect of it. But we live in a society where people do that. They’re, like, ‘I hate vegans, and you’re a vegan, so I hate you.’ Or, ‘I hate liberals, and you’re a liberal, so I hate you.’ And it’s a shame, because there’s so much more to life than that. And I feel like people are kind of losing that now. They think that they have to hate certain people, and they have to align themselves with a very strict label, and you don’t have to do that. You can actually be an individual and be yourself. But I think people are really afraid to be like that now.”

  • Slayer’s Kerry King On His New Album: “It’s Fucking Crushing”

    During a recent appearance on the “100 Songs That Define Heavy Metal” podcast, Slayer guitarist Kerry King discussed his next album. He said the following:

    “I’m excited about it. There’s so many, so many fun things going around about this record in my camp. [Producer] Josh Wilbur’s doing it again, and my publicist would knock me the fuck out if I gave up too much. But I think it’s a wonderful extension of the first album. I think everyone that’s been a fan of mine throughout history is gonna like it entirely. The intro, to me, is one of the best intros I ever made up, so I’m looking forward to hearing what people say about it once it comes out. It’s a slam dunk. It’s fucking crushing.”

    KISS will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of their 1976 album “Rock And Roll Over” with a new box set. The collection will be available on November 6 and it can be pre-ordered HERE.
