  • Invent Animate Premiere New Song “Fall Like Rain”

Invent Animate have premiered a new song titled “Fall Like Rain.” You can check that out below:

    Vocalist Marcus Vik commented:

“‘Fall Like Rain‘ is about my lifelong struggle with insomnia and anxiety.

When I quit alcohol a few years ago, my sleeping problems surfaced in a new way. I was forced to confront my restless mind without a way to escape or quiet my thoughts. The line ‘I am a swarming blood red cloud’ is me admitting that I am my own insomnia; it’s the storm of my own thoughts that comes nightly to torment me.

Because there is so much dread in being wide awake, I wanted the vocals to feel raw and desperate. But in the face of these overwhelming feelings, the chant ‘I wasn’t born to be afraid’ is a refusal to be paralyzed by ‘whispers that fall like rain’. The quiet thoughts that get louder and louder until there is a downpour of anxiety and panic. Every night I have to choose to believe there is a place of safety on the other side of that storm.”

  • Extinction A.D. Recruit Incendiary Guitarist Brian Audley For New Song “Truth Or Consequences”

Extinction A.D. have joined forces with Incendiary guitarist Brian Audley for a new song titled “Truth Or Consequences.” You can check that out below. Vocalist/guitarist Rick Jimenez commented:

“Working with Brian was a no-brainer for us. Incendiary has always been a massive influence on the Long Island scene, and having his energy on this track took it to a completely different level of aggression. This song veers hard into the ideology of more ground level stakes, which hearkens back to vibes of a former band of mine and Audley’s called Soldiers.”

  • Puscifer Release “Tales From The Pusciverse #3: The Synth Whisperer”

Puscifer have released the third issue of their new comic book series, “Tales From The Pusciverse #3: The Synth Whisperer.” Fans can buy that HERE.

    Here’s a description:

“The latest installment of ‘Tales From The Pusciverse’ centers on one of the newest and most enigmatic characters to emerge from the expanding Puscifer universe… The Synth Whisperer. Introduced on a recent episode of the ‘Tales From The Pusciverse Prodcast’ as ‘the man, the myth, the legend known as The Synth Whisperer in the deepest and darkest corners of the online music community,’ this master of technology possesses electronics and can synchronize even the most temperamental of machines, including the Synclavier and Fairlight. As strange signals ripple across the Pusciverse, only The Synth Whisperer may hold the power to restore order, or reshape it entirely.

Written by Maynard James Keenan, the new issue features cover art by Zombie Yeti, artwork by Marlin Shoop (“Captain Action,” “G.I. Joe,” “Unprepped”), lettering by Jack Morelli (“Afterlife with Archie,” “Peter Parker Annual,” Marvel Comics) and faux advertisements by Andy Belanger.”

    Frontman Maynard James Keenan commented:

“The stories are starting to unfold. The Synth Whisperer, The Briefcase, Fanny Grey, and Bellendia Black details are dropping like bread crumbs. This is only the beginning.”
