• War On Women Premiere “Messages Unsent” Video

War On Women have premiered a new video for their new song “Messages Unsent.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Time Under Tension,” which will be released on May 8.

    Vocalist Shawna Potter commented:

“This is the first love song I’ve written in a long time, certainly the first in this band. It’s about the idea that once you really have something to lose, a partner or a life you love (or in this case, my dog Rosie), then you start to care more about your own safety, about sticking around. You start thinking about your mortality, and theirs, and it’s terrifying. But even if we don’t get forever, I like the idea that love can live on.

We wanted to create a video as bittersweet and nostalgic as the song itself so we opted to revisit the first tour we did post-2020, when we weren’t sure if we’d ever get to play live music again. The joy of gathering against such a tragic backdrop mimics the songs themes of love and loss.”

  • Myrkur Premieres “Touch My Love And Die” Video

Myrkur has premiered a new video for her latest single “Touch My Love And Die.” You can check that out below. The track, which was commissioned by Danish broadcaster DR1, will serve as the singer’s entry into this year’s Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. The winner of that competition will represent Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria. Director Line Klungseth Johansen commented:

“We wanted to contrast the intimate performance moments with vast, elemental landscapes. The burning forest, ice lake, and mountain sequences were conceived as emotional extensions of the song, placing Amalie in environments that feel both fragile and powerful. The natural locations were chosen for their raw, dramatic qualities, reinforcing the intensity and scale of the track.”

  • Nevermore Unveil New Lineup, Sign With Reigning Phoenix Music

Nevermore have returned with a new lineup. Guitarist Jeff Loomis and drummer Van Williams will now be joined by vocalist Berzan Önen, guitarist Jack Cattoi, and bassist Semir Özerkan. With this news, the band have also signed with Reigning Phoenix Music. The group’s first show will take place at IF Performance Hall Beşiktaş in Istanbul, Turkey on April 1.

    Loomis and Williams commented:

“We are thrilled to announce that Nevermore has officially signed with Reigning Phoenix Music! It was obvious from the start that they were the perfect partner for the new era of Nevermore. Their passion for metal music combined with the extensive industry pedigree of their team made the choice easy. We can’t wait to get back on stage in front of our fans in Istanbul on April 1st, and we are just as excited to finish writing and putting together the new Nevermore album!”

Reigning Phoenix Music’s Gerado Martinez added:

“There are no words to describe how proud and excited RPM is at the prospect of being part of Nevermore’s next chapter. Having been a fan since 1995 when I saw them on tour with Death, I’ve followed them on their entire musical journey and cannot wait for what is yet to come.”

Williams also discussed the band’s return:

“It’s been brewing for quite a while and has just started to manifest itself into the now. So what better time is there to kick things off than now? If the new music had to be described by one word, that would have to be delicious. Because it’s so good it’s gonna leave you hungry for more.”

Loomis also opened up about recruiting Önen:

“He really stood out strong in so many ways upon a first listen. I could really feel the emotion and passion when I heard him sing for the first time. He wasn’t just going through the motions. I could tell right away that he was a fan of Warrel’s singing just by the way he delivered and said certain words. I was really blown away at first watch.”

    He added:

“Van and I are super passionate about the band. What we deliver and bring back to the audience is us wanting to hear those old tracks again just as much as the fans. We obviously want our old fans there every step of the way, but also look forward to meeting a new generation of fans as well.”

In other news, Nevermore have also released a new documentary focusing on their January rehearsals at Swans Neck Soundworks in Väderstad, Sweden. You can check that out below:

  • Eidola Premiere “Purity Ladder” Music Video

Eidola have premiered a new video for their new song “Purity Ladder.” Vocalist Andrew Michael Wells said the following about the single:

“This song was written as a snapshot of modern time to convey a deeply haunting sense of brutalism. Angular, heavy, concrete, and imposing. Regarding the lyrics, take a look at the world around you. Don’t it feel like we’re heading toward some glorious utopia or an unimaginable hellscape? What do you value most in existence and why? Is modernity everything you hoped it would be? Or are you still angry, tired, overwhelmed, and absolutely fed up? Society consumes, regurgitates, vomits up lies, and distorts reality. Welcome to the ‘Purity Ladder.’”

  • Lost Society Premiere “Is This What You Wanted” Video

Lost Society have premiered a new video for their new song “Is This What You Wanted.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Hell Is A State Of Mind,” which will be released on March 6. Frontman Samy Elbanna said the following about the single:

“This song comes from the feeling when you’ve worked tirelessly for years on your dream to come true and come to life, and you have these sudden realisations of how many important moments you’ve missed and how big the sacrifices have been that you’ve made along the way. A truly bittersweet feeling, because in the end of the day – they’ve been necessary to ensure your focus on your dreams. Nonetheless, it hurts. This comes from the heart and we hope it speaks to you and makes you remember that your loved ones would always have hoped for you to go after your dreams.”
