That event will be held on September 17-20 at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville, KY and it will also feature My Chemical Romance and Iron Maiden. Armored Saint will be filming a music video for a track off their upcoming album on February 21. The shoot will take place in Los Angeles, CA. The band put out the following casting call for the clip:

“LOS ANGELES! Want to be part of the next Armored Saint music video? We’re looking for fans to appear in a storyline for our new video. Satan’s Brian Ross To Undergo “Major Life-Saving Preventative Surgery”

Satan vocalist Brian Ross is set to undergo a “major life-saving preventative surgery.” As such, the band will be postponing all of their dates for 2026.

The group commented:

“Fans and friends,

With a heavy heart, we must announce a break from scheduled performances. Our singer, the inimitable Brian Ross, has just learned that he must have a major, life-saving preventative surgery in April/ May 2026. His recovery will take several months.

This sadly means that Satan is forced to postpone all planned concerts for 2026, with the exception of this weeks shows in Spain which will go ahead as planned.

This is not what we wanted, but we trust that you all want Brian to take care of his health, recover fully and come back stronger and more powerful than ever in 2027. Thank you so much for your unwavering love and support!”

Skeletal Remains’ Chris Monroy Accused Of Groping Women On 70000 Tons Of Metal Cruise

Skeletal Remains vocalist/guitarist Chris Monroy has been accused of sexually assaulting people during the recent 70000 Tons Of Metal Cruise cruise. A number of reports said the musician got drunk and groped multiple women on the boat.

One post said the following [via Reddit]:

“I’d like to give a big sarcastic shout out to the guitar player of Skeletal Remains for being a total drunk piece of shit who was groping women on the boat. Learn some consent before we ass fuck you next time you come around. Fuck you and your band.”

A woman named Maddy Raymond also came forward [via Facebook]:

“Oh and BTW fuck Chris Monroy. He’s a fucking predator and a wasted piece of shit. First hand account. Stop listening to Skeletal Remains period.

EDIT: Much respect to the rest of the djents in the band for kicking Chris’s ass to the curb in Florida after the boat. I’m proud of you guys for standing up with the rest of our metal family. No one threatens our safe space and good times 🤘💚 I love you all”

The person who reported Monroy also shared a statement [via Reddit]:

“Posting here bc privacy versus other social media outlets. I was the one who reported him on the ship. He would not leave me alone after I got off of my volunteer shift and went to the casino bar with one of my best friends. Chris continued to approach me and grab me by the waist on my bare skin. I told him to fuck off multiple times. He would then continue to walk by me and grab me as he was walking by several times.

“I then sat at the bar with my friend, and he grabbed my cigarette out of my hand and my drink, and began to smoke my cigarette and drink my drink and grab me by the waist at the same time. I was telling him to fuck off extremely loud and he simply would not get the point. People sitting next to us started to notice and asked if we needed security and I said yes I told the bartender also to call security and they never showed up. I then decided to take action the next day and reported it to the higher ups of 70 K because I knew action needed to be taken.

“It is really upsetting to then hear that his behavior was happening in other instances on the ship and in previous events. Why no one has come forward before me? I’m not sure but there’s tons of video footage of what happened that entire ship has cameras everywhere. As per the security/police team and the information that they told me when they were reviewing my statement, not to mention, that ship also has 75% audio accompanying that footage so if anyone questions this decision made by 70000Tons Of Metal and their decision believe me that it’s official.”

A number of people claimed Monroy has since been banned from the cruise. However, organizers said the matter was already resolved:

“Our security team was made aware of a situation during the cruise and promptly interviewed all parties involved to defuse the matter. After reviewing the information available at the time, no further action was warranted.

70000TONS OF METAL is a very friendly and inclusive environment, and we take the safety and well-being of our guests, crew, and artists extremely seriously. We also have a clear code of conduct that we hold everyone on board to, including guests and musicians alike.”
