Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to artists that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have a Q&A with Chuck Dakota of The Chuck Norris Experiment.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:
DAKOTA: Hello! Chuck Dakota, bass player extraordinaire, of Sweden’s finest – The Chuck Norris Experiment. We are a five piece rock outfit from Gothenburg. The band has been around since 2004, when we released our first album, and we have released tons of vinyl since then – both albums and singles.
The band consists of:
Chuck Daniels – Guitar
Chuck the Ripper – Guitar
Chuck Buzz – Drums
Chuck Ransom – Vocals
Chuck Dakota – Bass
METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?
DAKOTA: Everything rock! I mean we have a broad palette of musical interests in the band ranging from scandi rock, to black metal, to outlaw country, to death metal, to blues and everything in between. All that is cooked down to how we believe rock should be played like.
METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?
DAKOTA: Our latest release is a B-side compilation called ‘HOT STUFF 3.’ As I mentioned above, we release a lot of music. And from time to time we sum up our singles and release them as a 12” vinyl under the ‘Hot Stuff’ name. Our latest one was released in the beginning of 2026 and features some original CNE songs and some really cool covers from bands such as Dead Moon, Blue Öyster Cult, The Misfits, Demolition 23 and more.
METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?
DAKOTA: A punch in the face by an awesome force of pure rock’n’roll. We have a true passion for playing live and love to give the audience the best experience possible. So if you like to watch five sweaty guys playing like it’s the last time they’ll ever play, then we are the band to see.
METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?
DAKOTA: Straight to the top and beyond!
Twisted Sister have officially recruited Sebastian Bach (ex-Skid Row) as their new singer. This news comes after the band previously scrapped their 50th anniversary shows due to Dee Snider’s health issues. The group issued the following statement:
“Twisted Sister members Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda are thrilled to announce that iconic vocalist and front man Sebastian Bach will be fronting the band for a handful of select dates this fall. These appearances do not affect or conflict with Sebastian’s current or future solo touring schedule, which remains fully intact. Tune into Eddie Trunk today on SiriusXM channel 103 at 3:30 est for more on this developing story.”
