Watch Marissa Nadler Cover Journey‘s “Of A Lifetime” With Cave In, Converge, Etc. Members

“Two Minutes To Late Night” have shared footage of their host Jordan “Gwarsenio Hall” Olds performing a quarantine cover of Journey‘s “Of A Lifetime“ with Marissa Nadler (Droneflower, etc.), Kurt Ballou (Converge), Stephen Brodsky (Cave In, etc.), Ian Miller (Kowloon Walled City, Puig Destroyer, etc.), and Nick Bellamore (Dee Snider, Toxic Holocaust, etc.). “Two Minutes To Late Night” commented:

“JOURNEY but it’s not where we get our sick shoes or that song from Family Guy. When Kurt Ballou (Converge, producer of every metal album you love from the past two decades) says he wants to cover the literal first Journey song you know he’s gonna make it shred! This is our 29th bedroom cover made with the support of Patreon. With so many musicians stuck at home with no outlets, we’re going to keep producing these style videos and use Patreon to give some money to everyone who has a part in them. Please support our friends by donating to our newly redone Patreon at”

Joel Grind said the following about the new record:

“When I started the band in 1999, I never imagined I’d still be doing it in 2019. It’s been a long time coming but the new album is finally ready and it’s sort of a culmination of my past twenty years of doing this band. Most notably, I decided to go back to my roots and record this entire album by myself and play all of the instruments like I did in the early days. It was a lot of fun and nostalgic and at the same time exciting to be able to apply everything I’ve learned over the years.”
