Joel Grind said the following about the new record:

“When I started the band in 1999, I never imagined I’d still be doing it in 2019. It’s been a long time coming but the new album is finally ready and it’s sort of a culmination of my past twenty years of doing this band. Most notably, I decided to go back to my roots and record this entire album by myself and play all of the instruments like I did in the early days. It was a lot of fun and nostalgic and at the same time exciting to be able to apply everything I’ve learned over the years.”

Toxic Holocaust Sign Worldwide Deal With eOne Music

Toxic Holocaust have signed a new worldwide deal with eOne Music. Joel Grind commented:

“…After various lineups and incarnations throughout the years, I have decided to come full circle for this 20th-anniversary era and release an album going back to solo project roots. This new album features me playing and recording everything just like the early days. Prepare for the next chapter.”

Joel Grind Offers Update On New Toxic Holocaust Album

Joel Grind has offered an update on the new Toxic Holocaust album. You can read what he had to say below.

“New Toxic album is about 90% finished, still need to finish up some arrangements and some lyrics but it’s getting close. Once everything is dialed in I hope to start recording in February.

It’s shaping up to be a little more fist pumping and rock n roll than previous stuff but still kinda has that D-beat shit going on from the last record. No wimp out, still gonna be raw and gross.

Also, this will sort of be a return to the origins of the band in a way as it will be a solo effort like back in the old days. I get a lot of questions and requests about doing a solo record again (ala Evil Never Dies and Hell on Earth…hence the Yellowgoat record) so I thought it would be a cool change and something different than what most bands do. This doesn’t effect the lineup, they will still be playing live with the band.
