I AM Premiere “The Primal Wave” Music Video

I AM have premiered a new video for their new song “The Primal Wave.” This track is from the band’s newly released album “Eternal Steel.” Vocalist Andrew Hileman commented:

“The topic of ‘fear’ is addressed in ‘The Primal Wave,’ but in a way where that fear is used to fuel you to overcome obstacles. If I could describe this song into a few words I’d use ‘furious power.’ It’s very unrelenting and in your face the whole time leaving an uneasy feeling. Getting with Kevyn [Reece] to make this video happen brought our vision of filth to life.”

“We are devastated to announce that due to unforeseen personal reasons beyond our control, we are unable to join The Acacia Strain for their US tour starting this weekend.

We have tried everything in our power to figure out a solution but unfortunately we haven’t been able to make it work.

We are not in the business of cancelling shows and we don’t take it lightly.

In all the years we have been a band, you can count the amount of shows we’ve cancelled on one hand.

We would like to extend our sincerest apologies to The Acacia Strain, I AM and 156/Silence and their teams, as well as everyone who was excited to see us over in the states.

We will back as soon as we can and will make it up to you all.

Thank you for your understanding and your continued support”

I AM Premiere “The Iron Gate” Music Video

I AM have premiered a new video for their new song “The Iron Gate.” This track is from the band’s new album “Eternal Steel,” which will be released on September 9.

Vocalist Andrew Hileman said the following about the song:

“When searching for solace and protection, I tend to find it’s often met with opposite hostility. The process of growth only occurs when forced into these uncomfortable situations. ‘The Iron Gate‘ is that place of cruelty that I find so beautiful for the soul. Beware and enter if you dare.”

Guitarist Tom Reyes also added the following about the album:

“We took what we did well on ‘Hard 2 Kill‘ to new extremes on ‘Eternal Steel‘. It’s faster than the last album, it’s heavier than the last album, and it expands on every other aspect of our sound. ‘Heavy’ doesn’t always have to mean ‘slow.’ Frequently for us, the faster parts are equally as heavy.”

“Eternal Steel” Track Listing:

01. “The Primal Wave”
02. “Surrender To The Blade”
03. “The Iron Gate”
04. “Eternal Steel”
05. “Vicious Instinct”
06. “Infernal Panther”
07. “Queen Incarnate”
08. “Heaven On Earth”
09. “Price Of Pain”
10. “Eye Candy”
11. “Manic Cure”

“The band is eagerly looking forward to bringing fans the next chapters in the Nile saga, as part of the Napalm family. We have been quietly working away, earnestly writing new songs for the next Nile album. It will be Nile’s 10th record, and we are determined to make it especially killer for the fans.”

Drummer George Kollias continued:

“Absolutely thrilled that we are a part of Napalm Records and super excited for the new album that’s coming soon, first one with our new label! I feel this is a very crucial moment in our career and I would like to thank Napalm Records for their trust in us — I know we will do some incredible music together! Nile has always kept raising the bar without compromising a single thing and this is what we will do for the next album too. Working on our new album as we speak, and we are hungry as hell to deliver our very best yet!”
