Pain Premiere “Party In My Head” Video

Pain have premiered a new video for their new song “Party In My Head.” The clip features an appearance from Joe Lynn Turner (ex-Deep Purple, etc.) and it can be seen below. Peter Tägtgren said the following:

“I decided to write a song about all the bullshit from the last year of lock-up and people’s struggle, including my own, to adapt to the new way of life. Suddenly, all of us had to deal with our inner selves in our secluded new life, so this is the cheer-up song for people. Each of us has our own party in our head. Musically, it’s a hell of a party song. I can’t wait to play it live.”

Pain Cover The Rolling Stones’ “Gimmie Shelter”

Pain have released a cover of The Rolling Stones‘ “Gimmie Shelter.“ You can find a video for that track below. Peter Tägtgren commented:

“I had an idea of covering ‘Gimme Shelter‘ for years… And now it feels like it’s the perfect time to do it – ’cause today this song appears as important as it was when it first came out 52 years ago. Back then it was the Cold War, today it is the war on Covid.”
