Megadeth have premiered a new song titled “The Threat Is Real” This song is from the band’s new album Dystopia, which will be released on January 22. The track will also be available on 12″ vinyl, as part of Record Store Day’s Black Friday (November 27).
More bands have been revealed for the French Download Festival, which is is set to take place at the Hippodrome de Longchamp in Paris, France, on June 10-12. Joining previously announced acts, Iron Maiden, and Rammstein, will be: Korn, Deftones, Megadeth, Ghost, Volbeat, Trivium, Anthrax, Biffy Clyro, Amon Amarth, Gojira, Sabaton, Rival Sons, and Down.

Tony Laureano (ex-Nile etc.) has been recruited to handle the drumming duties for Megadeth’s Asian tour. He is expected to continue playing with the band when Chris Adler (Lamb Of God) is unavailable. You can see footage of Laureano performing with the band in Biejing, China below:
