Sepultura To Release “SepulQuarta” Album In August

Sepultura will be releasing a new compilation album titled “SepulQuarta” on August 13. The effort will feature various quarantine performances that were recorded for their series of the same name. Andreas Kisser commented:

“‘SepulQuarta‘ was born at the very beginning of the pandemic when everything was halted. We had a new album out, but we couldn’t tour for it. Therefore, we created this recurring event where we could talk with our fans around the world, play our music and exchange ideas, it was a blast! SepulQuarta kept us alive and strong throughout one of the most difficult times in human history.”

Sepultura have shared a quarantine performance of “Phantom Self” as part of their “SepulQuarta” series. This performance finds the band joined by Periphery guitarist Mark Holcomb.

Mark Holcomb To Miss Periphery’s Upcoming U.S. Tour

Periphery’s Mark Holcomb will be missing the band’s upcoming U.S. tour with Plini and Covet. This news comes after the guitarist previously had to head home early from the group’s European tour. Periphery commented:

“Regarding the HAIL STAN 2020 US Tour: We’re sorry to report that Mark is still unavailable to tour and will not be part of the US dates happening In January and February. We continue to support Mark and his decision, and we look forward to having him back on the road with us soon.”

Guitarist Mark Holcomb To Miss Periphery’s Immediate European/UK Dates

Mark Holcomb will be missing Periphery’s immediate European/UK dates. The guitarist had to head home from the tour due to a “family matter.”

The band commented:

“To our Netherlands and UK fans: We’re sorry to report that Mark had to leave the tour unexpectedly last evening after our show in Berlin to attend to a family matter back in the US. He will not be with us for at least the next few shows, and his availability for the remaining dates along this current tour is unknown at this time. We hope he can join us again as soon as possible.

We fully support Mark‘s decision to leave the tour, and our hearts are with him.

We have big shoes to fill without him, but the remaining shows will go on as planned. The band will be performing as a four-piece.

The German dates were an absolute blast! For those that have tickets to the remaining six shows, we can’t wait to see you and continue this amazing run!

Periphery guitarist Mark Holcomb has revealed that he has lent his voice to a new video game called “Disco Elysium.” SikTh’s Mikee Goodman was one of those responsible for helping to get him this opportunity.
