  • Megadeth Team Up With Prince St. Pizza For Limited Edition Pepperoni Pie

    Megadeth have teamed up with Prince St. Pizza for a limited Vic’s Pepperoni pie. The collaboration will run from September 23-27 and it will feature a pizza box inspired by “Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying.”

    Rewards members that order the pizza through the restaurant’s Los Angeles, CA locations will have a chance to win several prizes. This includes tickets for the band’s special September 24 set at the Grammy Museum and a chance to meet them. The grand prize winner will get to have pizza with the group. Others may also win a shirt in a signed pizza box.

    Prince St. Pizza CEO Lawrence Longo commented:

  • Nene Royal Covers The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army” Live On “America’s Got Talent”, Jams With The Warning

    During the September 22 episode of “America’s Got Talent,” contestant Nene Royal performed a cover of The White Stripes classic “Seven Nation Army.” You can check out some footage of that below.   • Hayley Williams Pays Tribute To Late Ex-Husband Chad Gilbert

    Paramore singer Hayley Williams has taken to social media to share a tribute for her late ex-husband Chad Gilbert (New Found Glory). The frontwoman says her time with the guitarist “taught [her] a lot.”

    Here’s Williams’ full statement:

    “Have not known what to say or if it’s appropriate. But I feel sure now that I want to bc life is made of the paths we cross and the reasons we cross them are infinite.

    Chad is indeed a legend in the scene and my time connected to him taught me a lot. He introduced me to people that continue to shape my life in beautiful ways, and to music and culture that has made life a lot richer.

    There isn’t much that hasn’t already been said about what he contributed to the musical world a lot of us grew up in. His influence and attitude guided the genre forward. His passion for fostering the community was inspiring and sticks with me.

    I will forever be grateful that from him I gained a deeper understanding and a reverence for the community and the culture of hardcore.

    Sending love and my sympathies to his family, NFG fam, and all his friends.”

  • Windwaker Premiere “dna” Video

    Windwaker have premiered a new video for their new song “dna.” This track is from the band’s new album, “smile, you’re on camera,” which will be released on October 23. The group commented:

    “‘dna’ explores a deeply internal struggle with identity, self-worth, and the feeling of being trapped by one’s own nature. The song reflects on emotional instability and the pressure of living up to expectations, while battling impulses, ego, and the fear of never truly changing. There’s a recurring tension between wanting growth and feeling stuck in destructive patterns, as if these flaws are hardwired into their ‘DNA.’ Another key theme here which is explored over the album is authenticity. References to ‘doing it for the likes’ and people ‘switching sides’ highlights disillusionment with superficial validation and fake personas, while the protagonist in this song tries to strip away ego and confront their true self.”

  • Blood Of The Earth Share Cover Of Ministry’s “Filth Pig”

    Blood Of The Earth (Thy Will Be Done, ex-Crowbar, etc.) have shared a cover of Ministry’s “Filth Pig.” That track is from the band’s new EP, “Beneath A Sky That Breaks,” which will be released on October 23. Vocalist J. Costa commented:

    “I’ve always loved ‘Filth Pig‘ and what Ministry were doing with that record. There’s a real sludge song buried in there that I think has flown under the radar, and we wanted to give it our own nod. We tracked group vocals for it and were lucky enough to have Afzaal Nasiruddeen (Crisis, Masters Ashes) and our dear friend Glen Ellis join us; two people who were part of the Chicago scene alongside Al Jourgensen in the ’80s. Having their voices on this track made it feel like we were connecting a little piece of that history to what we’re doing with Blood Of The Earth.”
