  • unpeople Premiere “blueprints” Video

    unpeople have premiered a new video for their new song “blueprints.” This track is from their new album, “we are unpeople,” which will be released on October 9. Vocalist/guitarist Jake Crawford commented:

    “The subject matter of this song is not an easy one to get into, personally. It’s broadly about propping up people who have behaviours that are clearly not good for them or the people around them. People who only want what is best for them. Take from that what you will. Luke wrote the lion’s share of the song and presented it to us with the chorus lyrics and melody already in place. I loved it so much we kept it almost exactly as it was and I just elaborated on the overall feeling of the tune with the verses.”

    Kingdom Collapse have premiered a new video for their new song “Victorious.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Survivor,” which will be released on October 30. Singer Jonathan Norris commented:

    “‘Victorious’ is a signature Kingdom Collapse anthem that we did for our diehards. Big riff, sing-along chorus, and a resilient attitude.”

    Bassist Aaron Smith added:

    “Since this one has such a motivational vibe, we invited our friend and AEW wrestler Thunder Rosa to be featured in the video. She’s a badass so we knew she’d do a great job.”

    “‘Achilles’ is a song about the ‘us vs. them’ situation in today’s increasingly polarized world. It is also the title track from our new album and shows a bit more progressive side of the band.   • HEALTH, Ice Nine Kills, And Periphery Members Contribute To “Crimson Moon” Soundtrack

    HEALTH, Ricky Armellino (Ice Nine Kills), Misha Mansoor (Periphery), and YouTuber/musician Jared Dines have contributed music for boss fights in the new video game “Crimson Moon.” That roguelike RPG was released on September 1. The soundtrack will follow on September 4. Armellino commented:

    “When I got invited to collaborate with the incredible team at ProbablyMonsters to help bring Crimson Moon to life, I was so honored. The game is an epic action RPG that brings gothic and classical elements together with heavy metal, and making these tracks was a blast. I can’t wait for players to hear them in the game.”

  • Nails Sign With Closed Casket Activities, Release New EP “Fear Based Life”

    Nails have signed with Closed Casket Activities. With this news, the band have also released a new EP titled “Fear Based Life.” The effort features the title track and “Dollar Bin Generation.” Limited edition vinyl pressings will also be available on October 9.

    The group commented:

    “NAILS has been very fortunate to work with great labels. All throughout the band’s existence, there’s not a bad label that the band have worked with. In fact, they’ve all been great. A look into the backend of Nails, I’ve been working with Justin Louden of Closed Casket Activities since 2011. All NAILS decisions regarding tour decisions, business decisions….all the behind the scenes stuff…. we conferred with him to help with perspective and insight regarding how we made our moves and executed the vision for NAILS. There hasn’t been a more instrumental asset to NAILS than Closed Casket Activities in the past 15 years. Signing a record deal with Closed Casket Activities is the best move for NAILS and we know this is going to serve NAILS the best for the band’s needs. We hope you enjoy our new 2 song ‘Fear Based Life’ single, we will have our fifth LP out Summer 2027. Thank you for supporting NAILS.”

    They also added:

    “NAILS put these 2 songs together November/December 2025. Writing them was a true collaborative effort between the 3 of us. We decided to release them as we thought they complimented each other well together. Jef Whitehead aka WREST did an incredible job with the front cover artwork as well as Cavan Hoover with the inner artwork. The photography was done in Berlin, Germany by Duran Levinson. The layout and text was completed by our friend Martin Stuart. It was a great experience putting this release together and working with everyone who collaborated on it including Closed Casket Activities. We hope you enjoy it.”
