• Ice Nine Kills Tease New “Ready Or Not 2” Track With Trailer For Faux Grave Diggler Documentary

Grave Diggler, the hair metal alter ego of Ice Nine Kills, have announced a new single titled “Hell Or High Slaughter (Grave Diggler: Pt 2).” The track was recorded for the new movie “Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come,” which will hit theaters on March 20. A music video will also arrive on the same day.

The band said the following about Grave Diggler, who are said to be composed of their fathers:

“Their sons may have eclipsed them in the 21st Century, but for a sleazy moment, Grave Diggler left its stain on hard partying rock n’ roll with decadence, desecrations, and panty raids. The group once stood shoulder to shoulder with their eyeliner-and-excess peers in Poison, Mötley Crüe, and W.A.S.P., before bad business and even worse drugs dampened the fire in their loins. By the early ’90s, like many glam bands, Grave Diggler faded from the spotlight. But history has a strange way of digglering up the past.

When the directing duo behind ‘Scream’ (2022) and ‘Scream VI’ began work on the sequel to ‘Ready or Not,’ they desperately wanted to include one of Grave Diggler’s forgotten classic anthems. But even after Radio Silence Productions deduced the connection with Spencer Charnas, securing the rights was no mean feat. The ensuing legal battle between fathers and sons resulted in Ice Nine Kills re-recording ‘Hell or High Slaughter (Grave Diggler: Pt. 2)’ for ‘Ready or Not 2’ and the long-banned 1987 music video for the song seeing the light of day.”

A teaser for “Hell Or High Slaughter (Grave Diggler: Pt 2)” can be found in a trailer for a faux documentary on the ’80s act. You can check that out below. The mockumentary will feature “Ready Or Not 2” stars Samara Weaving, Kathryn Newton, and Elijah Wood alongside Michael Starr (Steel Panther), Stephen Pearcy (Ratt), Matt Pinfield, Jose Mangin, etc.

    04. “Vulnerable”

    10. “Descension”
    11. “Power”
    12. “You Can’t Walk Away Now”
    13. “A Monster Like Me”

The following was said about the record:

“‘Operation: Mindcrime III’ is once again a concept album with a storyline following Nikki, a drug addict-turned-assassin manipulated by a shadowy figure known as Dr. X. However, unlike the first two installments, ‘Operation: Mindcrime III’ will tell the tale from the perspective of Dr. X.”

    Tate continued:

“[It’s] how the story happened from his point of view. Which is kind of interesting, I think, because we’ve only heard it from Nikki’s point of view, and he’s been sort of this victim throughout the whole story. And Dr. X’s perspective is completely different, ’cause he’s not the victim at all. So it’s very aggressive.”

  • Evergreen Terrace Part Ways With Drummer Longineu Parsons III

Evergreen Terrace have parted ways with Longineu Parsons III. The drummer recently confirmed the news, while also revealing that he was replaced by his predecessor Brad Moxey.

    Parsons commented:

    “Hello Friends LP here

This is an unfortunate announcement I didn’t see myself making. Due to circumstances that I myself are very unclear about I will no longer be performing with my brothers in EVERGREEN TERRACE.

Early in March I reached out to my bandmates about when we were getting together again for rehearsals and I was surprised with a return message stating that the former drummer Brad had asked if he could join back up and they were replacing me. This is a very bizarre and saddening situation for me since ET has become a very important part of my story in my musical career.

As you all know I started my path in music with my former band Yellowcard which opened the doors to opportunity, travel and fame. I’ve been fortunate enough in my career to travel the world, play the baggiest arenas and even winning a Moon Man award. But none of that has been more fulfilling than the camaraderie and long van rides with my brothers Craig, Andrew, Jason and Alex of ET.

Whatever the reasons are for this abrupt decision I hope they can be fixed in the future and I will always leave the window open to ET. Brad is an amazing drummer and stellar dude and I wish him the best of luck.

    Thank You All – LP”

  • Kulk Premiere New Song “Ache”

Kulk have premiered a new song titled “Ache.” The track is the band’s first release through their new label home Church Road Records. Kulk commented:

“‘Ache‘, is not only for our friend Meg who we lost in 2023, it’s for all of us left behind. This track was the first we had written after she died and has opened our shows for a while now. ‘Ache‘ describes living with grief after years. It’s not the immense pain of the first few days, but it’s ever present and consistent. Like a broken bone that hasn’t healed right, it has changed the way we move, act and think; always there never letting up. It was also an honour to have Hannah Asprey, of the band IAN, perform a devastatingly beautiful cello feature.”

  • Melechesh Premiere New Song “In Shadows, In Light”

Melechesh have premiered a new song titled “In Shadows, In Light.” This track is from the band’s new EP, “Sentinels Of Shamash,” which will be released on April 10. The group commented:

“‘In Shadows, In Light’ explores cosmic knowledge hidden in plain sight — parallel dimensions, sacred geometry, and veiled currents of existence revealed only through perception. Drawing on esoteric and Kabalistic thought, the song moves between concealment and revelation. Structured as a journey with shifting acts and moods, it unfolds through tension, release, and transformation. Each passage reveals another layer of vision, where shadow and illumination coexist, and the unseen becomes ‘felt’ rather than explained.”
