  • Roman Candle Premiere “Blasphemous Act” Video

Roman Candle have premiered a new video for their new song “Blasphemous Act.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Unadulterated,” which will be released on April 24.

    Vocalist Piper Ferrari commented:

“‘Blasphemous Act‘ was the last song we wrote for the record, and it hit with such ferocity that it forced its way onto the album in the eleventh hour. The name came from a Magic: The Gathering card, but the song took on a life of its own — this unhinged, teeth-bared spiral of obsession and retribution.

Lines like ‘your neck in my teeth is all that I need’ and ‘karma is owed, paid in full’ captured a darker, more primal side of the band that we didn’t even know we were still capable of tapping into. By the time it explodes into that repeated ‘run for your life’ refrain, it felt clear: the record wouldn’t be complete without this song.”

    “Unadulterated” Track Listing:

    01. “Blasphemous Act“
    02. “This Band Has Lead Me To Places I Wouldn’t Go With A Gun“
    03. “Can We Watch Something Happy?“
    04. “Lady Lazarus“
    05. “Bite Harder Than You Bleed“
    06. “I Can’t Stop Winning“
    07. “Fire In The Night Sky Forever“
    08. “My Silence Costs More Than You Can Afford“
    09. “Nothing Is Original“
    10. “On Second Thought Maybe Gaslighting Is Real“
    11. “For Once My Hands Are Still“
    12. “How To Be Considered When You’re Not In The Room“

  • Jello Biafra Will Have “A Long Road Of Recovery” Following Recent Stroke

Alternative Tentacles have shared a new health update on Jello Biafra (ex-Dead Kennedys) following his recent hemorrhagic stroke. The label says the vocalist will have “a long road of recovery.”

Alternative Tentacles issued the following statement:

“Well, it has been a devastating week. Jello is making progress but he has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Cognitively he is as sharp as ever, but he is suffering a bit with the left side of his body not cooperating. His fighting spirit is a blessing right now.

Sorry we didn’t respond yet to all your texts and calls. It is hard for him to text so I am replying to people. It has just been so intense and chaotic that it is taking a while. Soooooooo many people reaching out. I can give updates on this page if you like.

He is appreciating the outpouring of love and support. It definitely lifts his spirits. Message me if needed. If you are planning to come visit, tell me. We have to space it out. He gets very tired very fast.

    Much love.
    Anne-Marie“

  • Stitched Up Heart Recruit Heidi Shepherd (Butcher Babies) For New Song “Cannibal”

Stitched Up Heart have teamed up with Butcher Babies singer Heidi Shepherd for a new song titled “Cannibal.” You can find a video for that track below. The single is from Stitched Up Heart’s new album, “Medusa,” which will be released on June 12.

    Frontwoman Alecia “Mixi” Demner commented:

“‘Cannibal’ is a song for the man-eaters, to all of the baddies stealing hearts and eating them for breakfast. I was at Butcher Babies’ very first show. Crammed on the stairs at a dive bar on the Sunset Strip. Heidi hurled this wrecked Barbie into the crowd. Hair hacked off, totally mangled. I caught it. Looking back at that moment it felt like she’d passed me a torch. ‘Hey girl, let’s conquer this industry together.’ Years later, we’re still at it cheering each other on from the sidelines. Collaborating on this song together is such a fulfilling moment.”

    Shepherd added:

“I’ve been a big fan of Mixi and Stitched Up Heart for nearly two decades. We’ve clawed our way through this industry together, and had each other’s back when no one else did. After all of these years, it’s so fitting that ‘Cannibal’ is the song that we finally get to SCREAM together! This song is so fun, and has quickly become one of my favorite collabs that I’ve been a part of. You can tell by the video that we had an absolute blast making it. I can’t wait to see what else Stitched Up Heart has in store of us fans in the future!”

    John Lydon commented:

“After losing Nora and Rambo, I couldn’t see a way through. The thing is, people were so overwhelmingly positive, they really showed me a lot of love, and they asked me to tour PIL again. With so many people asking and with the band meaning so much to them, I couldn’t just stay on my sofa and not tour — tempting though that obviously is.

We’re looking forward to playing to our friends in North America. It feels like it’s been a long time and we’re pleased to be coming back. We’ve just been into the studio for four weeks to start work on our new record. You’ll be hearing a lot more from PIL.”
