  • We Came As Romans Share New Version Of “One By One” Featuring Dayseeker

    We Came As Romans have shared a new version of “One By One” featuring Dayseeker. The track is from the band’s “ALL IS BEAUTIFUL… BECAUSE WE’RE DOOMED: CIRCULARITY” release. That effort will include four new tracks and six reimagined songs with contributions from Dayseeker, Bury Tomorrow, After The Burial, Currents, Headwreck, Ladrones, and HEAVENSGATE.   • Beast In Black Premiere “Fear The Beast” Music Video

    Beast In Black have premiered a new video for their new song “Fear The Beast.” The single serves as the title track of the band’s upcoming album.

    Anton Kabanen commented:

    “The song is about Ridley Scott’s 1979 film called ‘Alien.’ But the main reason to write about it was my fascination with the biomechanical nightmare art of Hans Ruedi Giger.

    Ever since I was a teenager I’ve seen recurring nightmares about a xenomorph hunting me in dystopian themed environments, yet never quite catching me (thank goodness!). Beside the creature’s downright perverted and extreme appearance I find it sensual, elegant, intense, fierce, horrifying, exotic and mysterious, almost as if it’s a beauty and a beast merged into one. And in a funny way it turned out that it’s I who captured my assailant, the xenomorph, inside a song after all these years!

    It was in early 2020 in Turku (a city in Finland),when Roman Ismailov and I were hanging out at a hotel and working on the first sketches for the ‘Dark Connection’ album cover, then alongside came the idea of making Giger’s art-inspired album cover, if not now then possibly for the fourth album, so here we are.

    Though the song is solely based on the first film, James Cameron’s sequel ‘Aliens’ is equally important to me in terms of an emotional impact. We tried to blend some of the feel from both films into our music video, with Cameron’s influence weighing more on the visual side of industrial elements. Another speciality in the video and on the album cover is the debut of our Xenobeast, which was, quite obviously, designed by Roman Ismailov. In the video you’ll also see some reptilian-looking embryos which may raise a question: are the reptilians and the Xenobeast actually of the same alien race but shown in their radically different stage of metamorphosis, or is the Xenobeast rather a Cerberus type of a creature guarding the eggs?

    We’re absolutely thrilled about this beautiful cinematic video which wouldn’t have been possible without Katri Ilona Koppanen (director) and Emil Pohjalainen (Nestruction Studios) who pushed their abilities to the extreme and beyond to fight against a juggernaut of challenges!     Yves Tumor has been removed from two shows on Turnstile’s fall North American tour after being hit with allegations of abuse and sexual assault. The musician will be replaced by No Warning in Toronto, ON and Obituary in Raleigh, NC. Here’s the dates:

  • Watch Soundgarden Perform With The Pretty Reckless And Pearl Jam Members At Seattle Seahawks Halftime Show

    Earlier this evening (September 9), Soundgarden served as the halftime act for the Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots game at Lumen Field in Seattle, WA. The set found the band joined by Taylor Momsen (The Pretty Reckless) and Mike McCready (Pearl Jam). You can see some fan-filmed footage of the group performing a medley of “Outshined” and “Spoonman” below. As an added bonus, you can also watch McCready perform the national anthem.

    Late musician/wrestler Andy Williams (Atomic Rule, ex-Every Time I Die) was honored during tonight’s (September 9) episode of “AEW Dynamite.” The tribute, which included a nod to Every Time I Die‘s “Fear And Trembling,” can be seen below. Notably, the September 12 episode of “AEW Collision” will serve as an official tribute for Williams.

  • AC/DC’s Toronto, ON Show Cancelled Due To Storm Damage

    AC/DC’s September 16 show at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, ON has been cancelled. The concert was scrapped after the venue suffered damage in a storm.

    The following statement was issued:

    “An update from Rogers Stadium

    We regret to announce that AC/DC’s show scheduled for September 16, 2026, at Rogers Stadium in Toronto has been cancelled due to damage the venue sustained following a severe weather event.

    The safety of fans, artists, crew and venue staff remains our highest priority. Every effort was made to find potential solutions for the show to move forward in Toronto, but unfortunately we were unable to find an alternative venue that could accommodate everyone. Fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will automatically receive a refund to their original method of payment; no action is required.

    Following a thorough assessment of Rogers Stadium after last week’s extreme weather event, Live Nation today announced that the upcoming AC/DC concert has been cancelled due to severe damage to portions of the venue.

    Safety for employees, fans, artists and vendors is always paramount. Last Wednesday’s storm was an exceptionally severe and significant weather event, and in the days since, engineers have conducted a thorough assessment of the venue in coordination with the City of Toronto.

    That work has determined that sections of the venue impacted by the storm will need to be removed and rebuilt.

    All original ticket purchases for the cancelled AC/DC concert at Rogers Stadium will be automatically refunded in full through Ticketmaster. Fans who purchased resale tickets should contact their point of sale for refund information.

    Rogers Stadium operates under extensive operational oversight and undergoes a rigorous safety inspection process. Engineers have worked with the City of Toronto from the beginning of the project and continue to do so as remediation work moves forward.

    ‘Last week’s storm was an extraordinary weather event. A suspected microburst in the area with extreme winds and heavy rainfall made it a 100-year storm for Toronto. We continuously monitor the weather at Rogers Stadium to provide decision support around concert safety. It’s clear by the extreme intensity of the storm that this was exceptional for the region, and forensic meteorological analysis is ongoing.’

    Given the damage to the stadium, the venue is not capable of hosting fans for the concert on September 16

The right decision is to take the time to remove and rebuild the affected parts of the stadium to ensure it is ready to welcome fans next summer.’
