  • Foo Fighters To Open For AC/DC At Rescheduled East Rutherford, NJ Show

    As previously reported, AC/DC’s September 25 show at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey was recently postponed due to weather. However, the concert has since been rescheduled for October 2. Foo Fighters will open the new date.

  • Danny Worsnop Shares Video For Re-Recorded Version Of “Ain’t No Use”

    Danny Worsnop (Asking Alexandria) has shared a re-recorded version of “Ain’t No Use.” That track was co-written by Aaron Gillespie (Underoath) and a video for it can be found below:

    Worsnop commented:

    “I recorded the original version and loved it, but the second I played it live knew that it was too slow and the wrong key. We changed it up and it felt so right, so when it came to jumping into RCA I knew it was the perfect opportunity to jump back in and give it the life it needed from the start that I simply hadn’t seen at the time.”

    He also discussed working with Gillespie:

    “Somehow both coming from the rock world, Aaron and I never met until the day we wrote this song. Almost 20 years of our paths almost crossing. He came over with a great idea, having always known my story and our worlds being so side-by-side. We found a song that pulled together in a way the summary of my life leading into my relationship and her acceptance (enabler) of who and what I am… embracing my flaws and loving me through them. Ironically right after we wrote this I changed a LOT! Haha.”

    He also added:

    “I’m just the stenographer. An idea shows up, and I go figure it out. This is me… for maybe the first time ever.”

    “For me, a big part of the song comes from repeatedly putting myself out there in the music industry — reaching out, taking chances, trying to create opportunities, and sometimes being met with rejection or complete silence. After a while, that silence can start to feel incredibly heavy. You start questioning yourself, wondering if you’re good enough, and asking how many times you’re willing to try again.

    I also wanted the meaning to be bigger than just my experience in music. Everyone goes through periods where life feels like it’s piling more and more weight onto them — expectations, setbacks, responsibilities, disappointment, and the feeling that you have to keep functioning through all of it That’s what ‘The Weight of a Thousand Skies’ represents to me: carrying an enormous amount of uncertainty and still choosing to believe that what you’re working toward is worth fighting for. For me, this song is about betting on yourself when nobody else is willing to. And maybe that’s the hardest part of chasing a dream: accepting that sometimes the only person who can keep the fire alive is you.”
