  • Mirador (Greta Van Fleet, Ida Mae) Announce “The Gathering At Badon Hill” Acoustic EP

Mirador, the project featuring Jake Kiszka (Greta Van Fleet) and Chris Turpin (Ida Mae), will be releasing a new acoustic EP, titled “The Gathering At Badon Hill,” on May 15 (vinyl out June 19). The effort will feature reimagined tracks from the band’s self-titled album recorded live in a stone barn in England.

“The Gathering At Badon Hill” Track Listing:

    01. “Ashes To Earth” (Reborn at Badon Hill)
    02. “Feels Like Gold” (Reborn at Badon Hill)
    03. “Fortune’s Fate” (Reborn at Badon Hill)
    04. “Must I Go Bound” (Reborn at Badon Hill)
    05. “Ten Thousand More To Ride” (Reborn at Badon Hill)

The following was said about the recording location:

“‘The Gathering At Badon Hill’ was recorded live in the shadows of an ivy covered 12th century stone barn, set deep within one of England’s oldest landscapes. Encircled by centuries-old graffiti — apotropaic symbols, witch marks, daisy wheels, and pentangles etched into the stones to ward off unseen forces — the single-take performances hit with an intensity the band weren’t ready for.”

    Turpin commented:

“While recording one of the tracks, we all felt it, a surge of energy rising and swirling above us into the rafters. It was unlike anything of us had experienced before…it shook us.”

    Kiszka added:

“The ground shook, the sky rumbled, and every microphone heard it… rather humorous, considering we had just come to record a few quiet acoustic tracks.”

A video for the first single, “Ashes To Earth” (Reborn at Badon Hill), can be found below:

  • Catch Your Breath Share Video For “[Gen]inside” Featuring Kami Kehoe

Catch Your Breath have teamed up with Kami Kehoe for a new song titled “[Gen]inside.” You can find an official video for that track below:

    Vocalist Josh Mowery commented:

“This song is for anyone who’s ever been blamed for the damage someone else caused… for anyone who was told to stay quiet, stay small, or stay on their knees just to keep the peace. If you’ve ever stood in the ruins of something you didn’t break and wondered why you were the one hurting, I want you to remember something — you’re not the problem. Sometimes the truth is simple. The world didn’t fall apart because of you… it fell apart because someone else was holding the gun.”

    Kehoe added:

“It felt unreal to finally put together a song with Catch Your Breath. I had been in the writing room for their latest album, and when we landed on the concept for this track, I just knew it was something special. I couldn’t be more proud of what we made together and I’m super stoked that everyone finally has the chance to listen.”

  • Vampires Everywhere! Premiere “All My Friends Think I’m Weird” Video

Vampires Everywhere! have premiered a new video for their new song “All My Friends Think I’m Weird.” You can check that out below:

    Frontman Michael Vampire commented:

“For as long as I can remember I always wanted to be a vampire! I dreamed of it as a little kid and even started a band based around it! I am a man obsessed with vampire culture and the idea of living forever to experience all that life has to offer.

Now, that being said there is also the other side of it; another frame of thought. The people who think I’m absolutely insane for even associating myself with vampire culture and for calling myself a vampire. I wanted to write a song to all those people actively hating on me, the band, and everything I built.

However, I didn’t want to make it that serious. I’m always serious! But this time I really needed some lighthearted comedy to soften the mood and show people I can smile; I am funny! I can roast myself! That being said, the song and music video came to life”
