Daughtry Premieres “Heavy Is The Crown” Music Video

Daughtry has premiered a new video for his song “Heavy Is The Crown.” You can check that out below:

Chris Daughtry previously commented:

“No one truly knows the responsibility of any one given person.

We all possess heavy responsibilities of our own castles, our own families, our own worlds and circles. So it’s easy to look elsewhere and think someone has it better or believe that one is less significant than the next person. But we are all as significant as it gets.

When you really see that you are 100 percent responsible for your life and the vision you want to come to fruition, that’s heavy. However, it’s also liberating to know, you are fully in control of that, while also being aware of the burden that comes with carving your own path and not conforming to societal norms.”

Daughtry Teams Up With Sevendust’s Lajon Witherspoon For Cover Of Temple Of The Dog’s “Hunger Strike”

Daughtry has joined forces with Sevendust’s Lajon Witherspoon for a cover of Temple Of The Dog’s “Hunger Strike.” You can check that out below. Proceeds from the track will go towards Feeding America.

Daughtry commented:

“Chris Cornell is one of the defining voices that grabbed me by the heartstrings and made me want to be a rock singer. ‘Hunger Strike’ is one of, if not the most iconic rock duets of our generation. It’s the whole ’90s wrapped up in one song. Doing this song with Lajon, one of my favorite humans I’ve had the pleasure of calling friend and brother, means the world to me.”

Witherspoon added:

“What an honor to be a part of this incredible song and to work with my brother Chris Daughtry and the boys. This to me was a musical movement in our community and still to this day in the world.”
