Atreyu have announced some 20th anniversary vinyl pressings of “A Death-Grip On Yesterday.” The new variants will be released on October 30 through Craft Recordings and they can be pre-ordered HERE.

“20 years ago, Atreyu’s ‘A Death-Grip On Yesterday’ hit the metalcore scene with ‘Ex’s and Oh’s,’ ‘The Theft,’ ‘Shameful,’ and ‘Our Sick Story (So Far).’
For its 20th anniversary, the album is coming back to vinyl on October 30. You can grab it on standard black wax, or track down one of the limited pressings: Fire Smoke via Craft Recordings and Victory Records, or Blazing Yellow via Revolver.
And there’s more out today. Atreyu’s savagely haunting 2006 single ‘Her Portrait In Black‘ is now available digitally. It was recorded during the ‘A Death-Grip On Yesterday’ sessions and ended up on the soundtrack for the action-horror film ‘Underworld: Evolution.’”

Abbath (ex-Immortal) has cancelled his remaining shows for 2026. This news comes after he recently stopped his SaariHelvetti Festival performance and stormed offstage during the first song. Abbath’s band issued the following statement:
“Abbath have made the decision to cancel all remaining shows for 2026. We sincerely apologize to the fans, festivals, and everyone affected. Thank you for your understanding and support.”
David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth, etc.) has announced another “Bass Warrior” European tour. The trek will find the bassist performing Megadeth’s “Countdown To Extinction” in its entirety alongside other tracks from his catalog and more. When The Deadbolt Breaks will serve as support.

MNRK Music Group have aquired the rights to Zakk Wylde’s Black Label Society catalog. The deal covers all of the band’s recorded works.
MNRK Music Group CEO/president Sean Stevenson said the following about the agreement:

Black Label Society has built one of the most enduring and loyal fanbases in heavy music. Owning and continuing to grow this catalog is a natural next step for us, and we’re proud to deepen our partnership with Zakk for the long term.”

Foo Fighters have shared an in-studio performance of “Of All People” as part of Vevo‘s new “Extended Play” series. The clip was recorded during a session at 606 Studio in Los Angeles, CA. The track appears on the band’s latest album “Your Favorite Toy.”
