• Blacklite District Premieres New Song “Man Down”

Blacklite District, aka Kyle Pfeiffer, has premiered a new song titled “Man Down.” This track is taken from his new album, “Whatever Happens Next,” which will be released on April 10. The following was said about the single:

“‘Man Down’ dives into moments when Pfeiffer felt knocked to the ground—personally and professionally—then follows the determination, self-awareness, and grit it took to stand back up and rebuild. Echoing the cinematic, emotionally charged style that has become Blacklite District’s hallmark, the track fuses rock, hip-hop, and atmospheric production into an anthem for anyone fighting their way out of the dark.”

  • Capsize Premiere New Song “Under A Hollow Sky”

  • Mayhem Premiere New Song “Life Is A Corpse You Drag”

Mayhem have premiered a new song titled “Life Is A Corpse You Drag.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Liturgy Of Death,” which will be released on February 6. Vocalist Attila Csihar said the following about the single:

“‘Life Is A Corpse You Drag’ is not a slogan, but a ritual and a realization. It names an ancient law: Consciousness as burden, the body as vessel, faith as a seal on a grave already closed. There is no comfort in this recognition but there is release. If we have been dead all along, there is nothing left to lose. What remains is pure energy: Movement without fear, presence without compromise, a victorious march into the final destruction.”

  • Within Temptation And Smash Into Pieces Team Up For New Song “Somebody Like You”

Within Temptation and Smash Into Pieces have joined forces for a new song titled “Somebody Like You.” You can stream that track below:

Within Temptation singer Sharon Den Adel commented:

“We are excited and looking forward to release ‘Somebody Like You’ together with Smash Into Pieces. We have known each other for a long time and have been on tour together. This is the perfect song to also finally join forces. Adding an orchestra to this song felt like a small trip down memory lane for us, while at the same time blending perfectly with a more modern rock sound. We’re proud of what this song has become and grateful for the collaboration that brought it to life.”

    Smash Into Pieces added:

“18 years ago, we started our careers with one simple goal: to help others, through music, find their own engine, their inner drive, and pursue their dreams. That engine is, and always has been, what makes Smash Into Pieces what we are. Today, we get to share a song with a band that has inspired us, that we’ve experienced some of our toughest and grandest moments live with, and that has ultimately helped form our sound. For the people who change us forever, who carry us through our darkest moments, and leave a mark that can never be replaced, we give you ‘Somebody Like You.’ We want to direct a very special thanks to Sharon Den Adel for her beautiful performance in the video and to Within Temptation for sharing this marvel of a song with us.”

We experimented more, we wrote on instinct and how we were feeling in the moment. Rich [Robinson] brought a spontaneity to the record that I can’t describe, but it’s the best shit he’s ever done.”

    Rich Robinson added:

“This album feels transformative to us. Going back to our roots, we felt that spark in the studio and how we work together. Lighting a fire that hits harder, more jagged but is still true to our musical essence.”

  • Ashley Walters Seeks To Revive Her Sexual Battery Lawsuit Against Marilyn Manson Once Again

As previously reported, the sexual battery lawsuit filed against Marilyn Manson by his ex-assistant Ashley Walters was recently dismissed for a second time. However, she is now seeking to revive the case once again.

Walters filed the suit after accusing Manson of sexual assault, sexual battery, sexual harassment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and more. Despite this, Los Angeles Judge Steve Cochran ruled that the case was not exempt from the statute of limitations and Walters’ claims of suppressed memories were not enough to revive it.

However, according to Rolling Stone, Walters is attempting to use a California statue called AB 250 to move the case forward. That law allows adult survivors of sexual assault to revive civil suits that were halted by the statute of limitations between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2027. Walters says her case fits the criteria because a final judgment is still pending and Manson’s lawyers waited until January 5 to announce their intent to file an order of dismissal.

Manson’s lawyer Howard King said the following:

“Ashley Walters‘ meritless claim has now been dismissed twice. We are confident that her motion to reconsider the most recent dismissal based on a new and inapplicable statute will fail.”

Walters‘ legal representatives at Hadsell Stormer Renick & Dai also issued a response:

“This law did not become effective until Jan. 1, 2026, and could not have been raised prior to its effective date. This is a ridiculous argument, and just another tactic by Mr. Warner to skirt accountability. Ms. Walters has waited far too long to hold her abuser accountable, and outdated statute of limitations arguments will no longer protect him. We are grateful that the judge granted our request today to set a hearing on this issue. We are optimistic that her case will go forward and she will get the justice she rightfully deserves.”

As previously reported, Manson has been facing allegations from multiple women who came forward after being inspired by Evan Rachel Wood, who claimed that he “horrifically abused [her] for years.” Among those who shared their stories were Walters as well as Ashley Morgan Smithline, who accused him of sexual assault before recanting her statements, Esmé Bianco, who settled a lawsuit in which she accused him of abuse and human trafficking, Bianca Allaine Kyne, who filed a lawsuit after claiming he sexually assaulted her when she was a minor, and one unidentified woman, who settled a rape and death threat lawsuit.

For his part, Manson has continued to deny the allegations, while also lamenting the impact they have had on his career. He also filed a lawsuit against Wood for defamation, but has since been ordered to pay her legal fees. Despite all this, the L.A. District Attorney previously confirmed that Manson won’t be facing any criminal charges.
