Former DragonForce singer ZP Theart has released a reimagined version of “Through The Fire And Flames” in honor of its 20th anniversary. You can find a video for the updated track below. Theart commented:
“This song changed so many lives, along with my own, and I thought it was time to give it a proper re-visit. Working with Syndrone to modernize the sound while having Sophie [Burrell] and Bradley [Hall] add their incredible styles was the perfect way to celebrate this 20 year milestone. Revisiting this song after twenty years is about honoring the incredible energy the fans have kept alive since the very beginning. I wanted to stay true to that spirit while also pushing the sound forward. Working with Syndrone, Sophie, and Bradley brought that same intensity, but with a new perspective for what comes next.”
Exhumed have revealed that they will be releasing a new album, titled “Red Asphalt,” on February 20. A video for the effort’s first single, “Unsafe At Any Speed,” can be found below. Vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey commented:

Lionheart have premiered a new video for their new song “Chewing Through The Leash.” The track, which features Kublai Khan TX’s Matt Honeycutt, is from the band’s newly released album “Valley Of Death II.”
KMFDM are streaming the title track of their new album “ENEMY.” That effort will be released on February 6. The band said the following about the single:
“In many countries all over the world, questionable leaders declare part of their populations as ‘enemies.’ We are ENEMY!”
Poison The Well have shared a new teaser video. The clip is assumed to be related to their upcoming album. Further details will be unveiled on January 13.
Blacklite District, aka Kyle Pfeiffer, has premiered a new song titled “Man Down.” This track is taken from his new album, “Whatever Happens Next,” which will be released on April 10. The following was said about the single:
“‘Man Down’ dives into moments when Pfeiffer felt knocked to the ground—personally and professionally—then follows the determination, self-awareness, and grit it took to stand back up and rebuild. Echoing the cinematic, emotionally charged style that has become Blacklite District’s hallmark, the track fuses rock, hip-hop, and atmospheric production into an anthem for anyone fighting their way out of the dark.”
Capsize have premiered a new song titled “Under A Hollow Sky.” Vocalist Daniel Wand commented:
“With the release of this new single, we’re opening another window into what we’ve been building without revealing the full picture just yet. Cody Stewart (Falling In Reverse, nothing, nowhere) helped bring the production to the finish line on this one, and we’re excited about where things are quietly headed.”
Mayhem have premiered a new song titled “Life Is A Corpse You Drag.” This track is from the band’s new album, “Liturgy Of Death,” which will be released on February 6. Vocalist Attila Csihar said the following about the single:
“‘Life Is A Corpse You Drag’ is not a slogan, but a ritual and a realization. It names an ancient law: Consciousness as burden, the body as vessel, faith as a seal on a grave already closed. There is no comfort in this recognition but there is release. If we have been dead all along, there is nothing left to lose. What remains is pure energy: Movement without fear, presence without compromise, a victorious march into the final destruction.”
Prong have announced a new live album titled “Live And Uncleansed.” The effort will be released on March 6 and it will feature tracks recorded across seven nights in July and August 2025. Guitarist/vocalist Tommy Victor commented:
“We were really well rehearsed. This is truly a live (!) record, everything is as is. You can hear some of the little mistakes here and there, but that makes it cool!”
